Stop At: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Qinling North Road, Lintong District, Xi'an 710600 China

With pickup from your centrally located Xi’an hotel at around 9:00 am, the one day historical tour starts. Drive approx. 1 hour to the Terracotta Warriors & Horses Museum. On the way, listen to your professional tour guide’s narration of Xi’an and its landmark of Terracotta Army and have a brief knowledge of the history.

Upon arrival, follow your guide to explore the three pits tagged in the order of their discoveries. No. 1 Pit is the largest and first opened to the public, terracotta figures of warriors and horses arranged in battle formations are the star features at the museum. You will be shocked by altogether 7,000 vivid life-size figures guarding the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. However, Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses are only a part of the yet unexcavated Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum, hopefully the entire mausoleum will be unearthed one day.

Later enjoy lunch in the well-selected restaurant and taste the local food. Continue to visit the Banpo Neolithic Village. The Banpo Site, dating back about 6,000 years, is one of the most complete examples of Neolithic matriarchal community. You will visit the Terracotta Replication Factory on the way back to downtown, learn how to re-make terracotta soldiers and enrich your Xi’an travel experience. Tour concludes after transfer you back to the downtown hotel.
