We undertook the Whistler trip . Our guide / bus driver was outstanding ... friendly , informative , attentive and relaxing Her welcoming and friendly nature was a joy
Whistler is an incredible place-but now we wish we had just found our way up there on our own-the bus tour was a complete waste of time-we didn’t get there until almost noon and we departed at 4:30PM-way too short of a trip to Whistler-it could have been made better by departing Vancouver on time or earlier (we didn’t leave until after 9AM and we had to go through shenanigans of being picked up by another bus and taken to our tour bus which was already full so my family and I (3 people) couldn’t sit together on the bus ride there. Leaving Whistler at 4:30PM was also too early-and we wasted time picking up late arrivals to the bus. I feel like we spent more time sitting in the bus than seeing Whistler. Next time-we’re going to Whistler to really see it and we will forego the tour bus. Our tour guide was super nice thought, but he literally spoke for the entire 2.5hrs up to Whistler NONSTOP! It was exhausting! Oh and the bus was super freaking hot despite multiple passengers on multiple occasions asking him to turn up the air. He finally did on the halfway back to Vancouver. All adult Family (NO TEENS)-not an option below.
This trip is perfect to visit Whistler in a day. You get see wonderfull views all the way to Whistler, with a couple stops to take pictures. You’ll have 4h of free time in Whistler village and the mountain, which could be longer since there’s so many activites to do. Our guide Erich explained the different main attractions of the mountain. He also explained the story of the different places we saw on the way to Whistler. Overall, if you want to visit Whistler in a day and have time to enjoy the way there, this is a perfect tour for you.
Amazing trip..... Smooth ride up to Whistler.... Stop at Shannon falls was breathtaking n Brandywine falls was surprising.... We decided to do peak2peak at Whistler..... There was enough time to walk around hike eat relax catch a nap
Our guide, Greg, had all the info for us and answered all our questions. He made multiple stops on the way there for great sightseeing. He knew the history of Vancouver, Whistler, and BC in general and had many fun facts and stories to entertain us on the drive there. The group was a mix of solo, couples and families. Once in Whistler, you're on your own to explore. Timing of activities was good.
This was an excellent trip and well worth the money. Our tour gude, Steve, was amazing and gave us lots of information and helped us to make the most of the day. Very well organised and would highly recommend.
Our guide/driver, Ken did an outstanding job. He was knowledgeable, personable and patient. Everything went according to schedule. Kudos!
Great experience and the tour guide was really informative and engaging. Loved the gondola rides and even saw s black bear.
This was a fantastic trip that will be remembered for a long while. We were fortunate, however, that the weather turned on its best for us. Our guide, Steve, was great one of the best I have had on any excursion. He was informative, protective of his passengers and most entertaining. Taking the gondola ride up to the top of the mountain is a must-do. It is amazing and you see stunning scenery on the way up and even better scenery once you are there.
Professional, friendly, and thoughtful guide, Brent ensured that everyone spent the day according to their interests! Absolutely fantastic day.
We had a fantastic day on our trip to Vancouver. Tim our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about all areas between Vancouver and Whistler, filling us in about information from the history of the area to the natural wonders. We did the Peak 2 Peak gondola and were astounded by the vast beauty of Whistler, having only ever been to ski field in NSW, Australia. We highly recommend the Landsea Tours group day trip to Whistler. We didn't wear enough layers or warm enough shoes, beanies or gloves for this day, so be prepared for the cold. It was -7 deg in the Whistler Village and much colder once you're at the top.Even though we couldn't feel our toes until we got back on the bus, it was the most amazing, spectacular experience to start our year-long adventure in Canada.
We got to see 2 waterfalls, stopped to take photos of the mountain peaks and spent 4 hours in beautiful, colorful Whistler Village. We love the Cultural Center a lot.
The day trip was fantastic, Mikey was our driver, he was very knowledgeable and had tips for when we arrived, only downside to the trip was the smoke from the fires in the area, there was a bike race on Saturday, so a lot more people were there.
The staff was helpful and informative. We were picked up on time and saw sites other than Whistler on the way up. We enjoyed the Native People’s Cultural Center and recommend visiting this if you have the time.
Viator set it up with Landsea Tours. Danny, our guide greeted us right on time at the hotel. He was excellent in providing us with everything we needed to know. Luckily the weather was perfect with bright blue skies. We made a few scenic stops along the way. There are now words to describe the beauty of Whistler. A must see if you are in the area. Highly recommend this trip.
This was a great trip. Picked up on time at Canada Pace and following the additional pick ups we set off on the long drive to Whistler. Our driver and guide for the day, Danny, was very good providing us with lots of good information on the way. Danny was a good guide, did not over do the commentary, he provided the interesting facts, not boring us with non stop chat and drivel. Stop off on the way to Whistler was the lovely Shannon Falls. A beautiful place to break the journey. Whistler was lovely. The Peak to Peak Gondola is a must do. Yes, it is a bit pricey, however, it is fantastic. Stunning views, a wonderful experience. We had 4 hours in Whistler which we found a little tight, as we stopped for lunch after the peaks. The drive to and from Whistler is stunning, particularly, Howe Sound. The stop off at Porteau Cove could probably have been a little longer as the views were stunning. The weather was great, our guide was very good, the views were amazing. A fantastic day which was a highlight of our Vancouver trip.
