Private Full-Day Northern Taiwan Tour by Car from Taipei

We had a great day trip to Northern Taiwan with Alan from Yolo Taiwan tours. He picked us up from our hotel in Taipei and from there visited a number of scenic locations, including the Yin Yang Sea, Jiufen, and Pingxi. Alan was a fantastic tour guide who engaged with us throughout the tour, taking the time to point out notable landmarks even along our drives. He was very considerate in recommending where to purchase certain items but not at all pushy in terms of buying souvenirs. Would highly recommend this tour, as it avoids the most tourist-y locations in favor of more relaxed and scenic destinations.

We had a very nice time visiting the Northern part of Taiwan. Roger, our driver, was very personable and well informed. He was a very good driver and we reached each location smoothly and safely. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Roger was our driver and guide, he was very professional and informative on all the places we visited and we didn't feel pressured or rushed in any of the locations we stopped at. We chose the route which took us to Yehliu Geopark which was stunning and fascinating, then onto Chiufen (Jiufen Old Street) to wonder the ally's and taste some street food, we then went to Shifen Waterfall for a short stroll over bridges and then to Shifen Old Street to release a sky lantern and tip toe across the railway tracks. Overall it was a great day exploring outside of the city and Roger made our trip most enjoyable and relaxing, highly recommended! :)

I can't believe how accommodating this trip was, we had a perfect time after a huge mixup which was easily fixed, this is one trip to absolutely take!

From start to finish this was a very enjoyable day. Our guide handled everything concerning our tour with brilliance. Besides handling the logistics during the day he gave us good and accurate information. He took us from place to place and in the car he gave us information about the next place to visit. Once there he gave us space for checking everything out by ourselves. Perfect, Another very good thing about this tour is that you can customize it after your own interests making it possible to see exactly what you want to see. Highly recommended tour with a superb guide.

Lawson was a wonderful guide. He was informative, pleasant, polite and made everything effortless for us. The itinerary was well composed with the right amount of time in each location. We never felt rushed or that we missed something. The variety of the sites was also very good - the geopark, waterfalls, gold museum, Jiufen and finally the Shefen lantern experience.
