We had an actual archeologist as our tour guide! Ina was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Split, and especially the old city and the Diocletian Palace. We had to go back to explore in more details some of the buildings and sites of the palace. The palace is not just a Roman and Middle Age site, it's a living, breathing town, as beautiful as it is unique. Truly a great walking tour.
The tour guid was excellent, he was extremely knowledgeable and presented all information in an interesting and entertaining way
A walk through history in the harbor town of Split, Croatia; w a 3,500 year old Sphinx, Roman palace, Christian Cathedral and Bell Tower and current day residences, all colocated in a modern day must-see stop. Natasa keeps it smart and lively
Natasha did a great job. She was very patient and knowledgeable with all of my questions. She spoke clearly and did a good job.
Lady doing the tour was an arciologist and was very informative and clear Good sense of humour Very good english
Ina was our guide for the Split Walking Tour. She was great- very smart and brilliantly well educated. My only complaint would be that I wish it could have been longer so we could have seen all the attractions with her. Highly recommend.
Nice walking tour. Our guide sorry but I can't remember his name. He is a school teacher in Split spoke very good English, had some good jokes and did a nice job of hitting the highlights of Diocletian's Palace and what is directly outside. The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because I typically save that rating for tours or excursions that offer something extremely special or unexpected. I would recommend this tour company because our guide was very good and the company was organized. They were waiting on time at the meeting point as described, easy to identify, ready and equipped to divide the large number into four separate groups.
We had Mijo, who was awesome. He pointed out a lot of GoT locations, and also was able to customize our tour as we were the only ones in the group.
Excellent tour and guide. Game of Thrones fans you get to see some of the places they filmed at. I loved the city so much that I will go again next year. Awesome time.
We had participated in walking tour of Split while visiting the city during the cruise and out guide was Luka Radnić. Throughout the years we had heard many tens of guides and learned to distinguish the nuances of knowledge as exhibited by the guides. The tour with Luka was a remarkable experience. His presentation and detailed explanations showed great knowledge of various generational details of Split history. This was complemented by the nuances of multilingual appreciation of the different cultures that put their imprint on this history, through Roman, Venetian, Ottoman and how it touches upon the modern Croatian language. His explanations were very detailed and he drew comparisons with relevant events elsewhere, at a given time epoch. What a difference from those multilingual bus tours packaged by cruise line companies when a guide tries to cover the same information about a place, in multiple languages - particularly when the information in your desired language is presented when the bus is already past the locale... Luka was also very helpful and assisted with other requests that we brought up we had a request from a daughter about a Croatian souvenir specialty - licitar heart. While Luka mentioned that it was not a Dalmatian specialty, he made a point to direct us to the store that carried these and while we were purchasing it, he was patiently engaging the rest of our walking group answering their questions. In summary, we highly recommend Luka Radnić. To those who appreciate detailed knowledge of historical nuances of a place listed among world preservation sites by UNESCO, from a multi-cultural perspective - you will remember the time spent walking the streets of old Town with him as your guide.
We had a great tour guide, Mijo, who was so passionate about the history and shared with us a lot of what he knows about Split. We highly recommend this walking tour to people who are visiting Split the first time!
Superb Walking Tour with Maja.It was like walking with a really good friend. Her knowledge was perfect -just enough to make you feel you had learnt a lot but not overwhelming.Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed Split Walking Tour. It was very informative and it is impossible to explore that much without a local guide. If one is visiting Split for the first time, I believe this tour is a must. Split is a wonderful place and we will like to go again and spend more time.
Our tour guide was very knowledgable and VERY funny. Thank you! We love Croatia!
