This tour was a great way to get introduced to Singapore - I always like to try to do a food/history tour first thing upon arrival in a new city. The best food tours not only expose you to delicious food, but put in in a context with the history of the city and neighborhoods - and this tour does both. We learned a lot about the cultural make-up of Singapore as well as the history that helped shape the amazing dishes we ate. Our guide was amazing and injected a lot of his own personal experiences of growing up with these dishes.
We had a great day on this tour - 6 hours of walking and train and bus getting around Singapore, trying many different local foods, most of which we had never tried before, and they were delicious. Our guide pointed out aspects of the many different cultures and buildings in Singapore, as well as taking us to restaurants and food stalls that we would never have tried on our own. We've been to Singapore before so we wanted to experience something different this time - recommended for sure.
