Great day all the way around. Sheldon was great and we're recommending the trip to friends and family who are coming to Sedona in the near future. The only downside was that we ended up picking up several parties of two in Flagstaff at several locations, which added at least 30 minutes to our trip on both the front and back ends. Our suggestion is that you find a central location in Flagstaff and Sedona to pick up your guests, especially if there are some individuals and couples going alone ... it would have saved us an hour of time ... that said, if you have multiple individuals, couples or families from one resort, then stopping at that resort makes sense ... Regardless, it was still an awesome day! ... highly recommended!
Rick was a great guide, very informative and fun to spend the day with. He worked the Grand Canyon from east rim, made the visit much more pleasant with smaller crowd.
Our Grand Canyon Day Tour was exceptional. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy at the Canyon. Our guide Andrea was wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable, personal and accommodating!
We loved this tour!!! Great mix of stops in a comfortable air conditioed vehicle. Our. guide EZRA was highly excellent! Extremely knowledgeable, very personable, and I was most impressed with how at each stop Ezra made a point of making sure everyone saw all the highlights and made great effort to make sure we got to see as much wildlife as possible
it was a great day trip to the grand canyon. the guide was great. she was very thorough and knowledgeable. everything was on time, planned out and it went very smoothly. excellent.
While my husband was in Flagstaff on business, I decided to do a solo trip to the Grand Canyon -- and I was so impressed with this tour! The convenience of having the pick-up at my hotel, the very informed tour guide (Charlie Torello), the fantastic lunch, and the small group size, all made the trip extra special! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience in Arizona!!
We really enjoyed this day. The guide was knowledgeable about the area and the local people. Lunch was really excellent and we didn't regret choosing Navajo food options. The green curry and fried bread was delicious. Going to the east rim was worthwhile and seeing the ruins there really was a standout for me. It made me appreciate the canyon in a different light. Day went really quickly. The bus was comfortable well air conditioned and driven really well by our guide. Very happy to recommend this tour. Great communication as they arranged a hotel for us to park for free and picked us up from Flagstaff on way through.
Sheldon, our guide, was informative and knowledgeable from the very beginning of our tour. We feel the tour was flexible to our needs and about as complete a tour as we could possibly want. You definitely receive your money's worth.
I had an amazing time! Mark did an excellent job! He was knowledgeable and funny too. I would definely recommend this excursion to others!
I gave the overall rating excellent because the tour itself was great. Sheldon Finkelstein was our professional tour guide and was very informative and entertaining. He made every stop worth while and was an endless source of information. The lunch was very good having taken Sheldon's recommendation indulging the enormous Indian Taco! Yum Yum. The trip however could have been much more enjoyable if the two of us were not paired with a family of five with 2 kids. We were very disappointed having to put up with the needs of the family and the kids. Not that it would be possible but next time I will be requesting no kids please.
We were so lucky to have Sheldon as our tour guide. He took us to see so many incredible sites, from volcanoes, to ruins to 6 different view points of the Grand Canyon with spectacular views! Sheldon went above and beyond and made the day special and memorable!
Mark, our driver and guide did an excellent job. He tailored the trip to the age and needs of the guests. Very knowledgeable, polite, and responsive.
We truly enjoyed our Ultimate Grand Canyon Day Trip from Sedona. Our guide (JR) was so entertaining and knowledgeable about the area (Sedona, Flagstaff, and the Canyon area). He took us to the best areas around the canyon and we were able to walk out to areas to get the best view possible under his guidance. One of the best stops was the Lava flow where we met a dinosaur named Larry. With JR's help, each member of the group got to have a great photo opt with Larry (JR used his movie background to make it happen). Great lunch at the Navajo Trading post and reservation was include. We enjoyed the group we were traveling with (ten people in the group). Got a chance to get to know each other and make new acquaintances. Highly recommend, well worth the money.
If I could give this more stars I would. Our tour guide was beyond great!! We learned so much and got to spend just enough time at all of the stops. I would hands down recommend this! We were going to drive ourselves but we were so happy we booked with them!! ❤️
Very nice tour and highly recommend Pick us up at our hotel and was punctual. Very knowledgeable driver/tour guide, one of the best I experienced I think seven different events toured all a significant distance between them so lots of windshield time.
We really enjoyed our Grand Canyon tour. It was a full day tour with lots of stops and adequate time at each for photos, shopping and a little exploring. We also had a really nice lunch at a very unique place called Cameron Trading Post. It’s a large gift shop and restaurant. The gift shop has a very good selection of Native American made art, jewelry, pottery a handmade Navajo rugs. There was even a woman there weaving them onsite. The restaurant was really good and we ordered off a special menu for tour groups, My friend and I both had the Navajo taco which was excellent and we had a bit of time to shop also. The tour had stops at the Wupatki National Monument ruins, Marble Canyon, Navajo Point and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Our tour guide, Rasa was a walking encyclopedia and was eager to share all of his knowledge of the areas we visited. He was very personable, funny and made the day seem to fly by. Even during our travel time between sites he told stories about the history of the area and local lore. I highly recommend this well organized, fun and interesting tour.
What a spectacular tour...it was our first trip to the Grand Canyon, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Nothing can prepare you for the views, the sheer magnificence. Riding in a little tour bus is not ideal, but even that wasn't terrible. It's a long day, and a lot of driving, but there is so much to see, and in my opinion, the most efficient way to take in as much as possible in a short time.Regarding the guide, I wouldn't step back on a bus with Kevin ever again. While he was knowledgeable, he was unbearable. He came across smug and condescending. His refusal to use a microphone led to him shouting information across the bus for the whole tour. He had no respect for time, and we arrived back 2 hours later than expected, which made for a long, exhausting drive to our next stop, in the middle of the night. To sum up, I highly recommend the tour. Just ask for anyone BUT Kevin.
Excellent tour!! JR, our driver and tour guide, was awesome! He was a wealth of information! His knowledge of the area was outstanding!! Would highly recommend this tour!
The tour was made great by our excellent tour guide Lynn. She was knowledgable not only about the Grand Canyon, but also the local culture and wildlife. I was initially skeptical about stopping at the trading post for lunch nut it turned out to be very good. I highly recommend the tour though it is a long day.
Our guide Andrea was extremely informative about all of the attractions and everything on the way. We really liked how she explained everything and let us explore on our own but was always available for questions. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting that area.
Our tour guide Andrea was the best! She is so knowledgeable, fun and excited to share the area. She made it a wonderful trip.
