Cory was good but we spend too much time at a small so-so winery and then had to rush thru the large better winery. Eliminate the chocolate factory tour.
Driver Corey was very good and his driving got us there and back safely. Took us on off the main roads to the farm areas and seen flowers and how they are farmed. Enough time at each stop. Good overall around tour.
Wineries and the falls were fantastic! Would of like a little more time at Chateau St Michelle... Cory the guide was great!
Me and my best friends all three of us are in our early 20’s went on this trip expecting it to be a full day of fun but it felt rushed to be honest and goose ridge winery wasn’t worth it the Michelle Winery is so worth it but we were given an hour between lunch and a tasting we never even got to see the grounds or truly appreciate the winery.. Then we we went to Snoqualmie falls once again given like 45 minutes to view and get back to the bus we had just finished taking pictures and we had to practically run back to the bus and the optional chocolate tour needs to be not even offered any more it was boring and dingy and I found no value in it and I am a big chocolate lover.. Also it didn’t bother us but we were the youngest people on board the next age group had to have been like mid 30’s or maybe 40’s. Overall the trip was decent but rushed I don’t think I will ever do it again or recommend it... if they make improvements like making the wine tour of at least 3-4 winery’s with an hour at each and start at Snoqualmie falls and end with the winery’s and get rid of the chocolate tour I think then it would be worth 100$ we spent
Corey was a great leader , driver and one of the most informative person we have met !! He made the tour interesting ..
A wonderful way to see the beautiful scenery of Washington! The only regret is not much time (35 minutes) to see this magnificent attraction. Cut out the chocolate factory trip and leave more time for the falls.
Had a great time on this tour. It moved fast, but we still had enough time to enjoy a wine tasting and a walk around the grounds at the winery as well as have a walk around the Snoqualmie Falls which are amazing too. Tour guide was good fun and knowledgable too.
I was disappointed that, unlike other wine tours I’ve done (Melbourne, Stellenbosch), we didn’t actually get to visit the vineyards where the grapes are grown. These were essentially visits to posh, out-of-town, wine stores with fireplaces. I don’t mind all this, but it really should be stated upfront so you know what you’re paying for. The two tastings cost $25+tax per person in total if I remember correctly. The wines were forgettable. Waterfall was scenic but a little mundane — it’s barely 5 minutes’ walk from the tour bus. (That’s a plus for many but I guess I was expecting to put in a little more work and see a bit more of the Washington countryside.) Boehm’s candies were the highlight though — the staff member who led the tour was friendly and welcoming. So when you book, just bear in mind you’re paying for a partially narrated bus ride.
Our Driver was so amazing. We did the tour Saturday April 20th. He was so knowledgeable and soooooo much fun. Loved it. Darcy Mochel
The tour and Cory were great! ALL of it was just wonderful! We loved the wine tours and in fact probably could have stayed a bit longer. It was overcast at Snoqualmie but still gorgeous. Cory also took us by Boehms candy for an added treat!
wine, waterfalls, chocolate and a great tour guide! the day was wonderful. Corey gave great information about the areas we went to and we had personal tours at one winery and the chocolate shop. highly recommended
This was a very informative and fun tour. The wineries were great. Gooseridge Winery was very educational and their representative was vivacious and engaging. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Snowqualmie Falls was beautiful and Boehm’s Chocolate Factory was unique and the chocolate was delicious.
Mark was our tour guide for the day. He was awesome!! The others on the tour were fun too!!! The transportation was very comfortable and we enjoyed all of the sites!! I give this tour a huge thumbs up!!! If you are on the fence, you will not be disappointed with this one. It was a fun filled day of taking in the beautiful scenery along the drive, tasting and learning about a large variety of wines, seeing the amazing waterfalls and ending with a sampling of chocolate.
Really enjoyed Gooseridge winery and tasting! Shipped some home to enjoy later. Chateau Ste Michelle was impressive but the tasting was underwhelming- seems like they train people to pour but they knew nothing about the wines. Would not recommend the tasting. The Snoqualmie falls were stunnng. We had a beautiful day to we got great pictures. The group decided to skip the chocolate tasting due to traffic - I was disappointed by that decision!
Our driver Woody was great, very interesting! However, we didn’t realize “wine tour” was not at the winery but in tasting room in strip center, which was disappointing. Also didn’t realize we had to pay for all tastings. Prior to tour I thought we only had to pay for chateau st. Michelle.
With Cory as our guide, we had a wonderful day, tasting wine, seeeing the countryside and the beautiful Snoqualmie falls. We ended our day, enjoying a delicious tour of Boehms chocolate confectioners.Cory made sure the day went smoothly for everyone and was a delight. He really went the extra mile!!
Cory was excellent and a wealth of knowledge and energy. It was a very well done tour and he accommodated everyone.
Very disappointed. I did not get what I paid for. The tour included a final stop at a Swiss Chocolate Factory that never happened. I think if we had a different tour guide it would have made all the difference. Woody was a very nice older man however, his personality just didn't cut knowledgeable tour guide. He spoke into a microphone that nobody could hear, his jokes were awful and I think he was more concerned about getting through the day, beating traffic home so he can watch the 6 o'clock news. The stop at the chocolate factory consisted of a strip plaza that sold the same chocolate as you would get in the factory. And the factory had gone downhill and wasn't worth the stop. The first winery stop was not ready for a bus of 22 plus other customers because they were not fully staffed until noon. We showed up about 11:30a. Too rushed, not enough time at major stops. Snoqualmie Falls? We had 20 minutes. Too bad, who knows if I'll ever get back to the Seattle area.
