Enjoy pickup from your Santiago hotel and take a pleasant 90-minute drive west of the city to Matetic Vineyards, located in Rosario Valley, part of the San Antonio winemaking region near Chile’s central coast.
The Matetic winery, with three vineyards located in San Antonio and Casablanca valleys, is known for employing organic and biodynamic methods in producing its top-quality wine. During your 1-hour winery tour, learn how the founders made use of the coastal climate and soils in developing a gravitational-flow design, and how its wines have been skyrocketing in popularity since its beginnings in 1999.
Next, head down into the wine cellar for tastings of two premium wines from the Corralillo line, a sauvignon blanc and a syrah. The wine shop is right there as well, so make sure to pick up souvenirs and some bottles to take home.
For lunch (own expense), settle in at the on-site Equilibrio Restaurant, which specializes in Chilean fare with a dash of contemporary cuisine using locally sourced ingredients. Fish, seafood, duck and lamb are all on the menu, with wine selections from Matetic Vineyards, of course. Or, feel free to bring your own lunch and enjoy it outside, surrounded by beautiful views of Rosario Valley.
Your 6-hour tour ends with drop-off back at your hotel in Santiago.
Please note: A minimum of two people per booking is required.

Our guide, Henry, was amazing. Lunch finished quickly, and we had a little extra time before we needed to head back to Santiago. Henry went out of his way to suggest another place to visit to get an ever richer experience of the area. He was very knowledgeable and was great company in general. The tour guide at Matetic was energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate. He definitely made it a fun tour and tasting. The winery was a very cool biodynamic space. Really enjoyed the architecture, philosophy, and staff. I'd recommend completing your visit by driving 10KM back down the road to the winery's restaurant to check out the landscape and have an amazing lunch.
