Your tour begins with pickup from your centrally located Rio de Janeiro hotel. Meet your guide and head to downtown Rio to start your tour of Santa Teresa. Learn about this incredible place as it is one of the most bohemian neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro.

Admire the wonderful mansions which date back to the 20th century and be amazed at its history. The neighborhood still has the tram which was built back in 1897.

You will also travel back to the past s you visit the historical places of Praça XV, Teles Arches, France Brazil House, Arcos da Lapa.

Bianca was a wonderful guide on a fairly interesting tour. I so wish she could have taken us on the Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer tour as well.

We booked this tour a day or two before we arrived in Rio. As such, we ended up being the only two people on the tour, which makes for an exceptional experience. We were picked up at our hotel (Windsor Leme) in an air-conditioned van. The tour guide (my memory is terrible but I believe it was Monica) had a very good command of English and we had no issues understanding her. We visited several unique neighborhoods in Rio, as well as the Selaron Steps and the Sao Bento Monastery. It was a hot day and our guide made sure we didn't walk too much, having the van meet us in strategic locations. Her knowledge of the area was extensive and she was a delight to talk with. We really enjoyed our tour and would highly recommend it.

Our guide was a little late in arriving but he made up by showing us unique places and a stop for a beer at a lovely place in Santa Teresa. Just loved it. Great time !!!

This was an excellent tour . The guide was very knowledgeable and it was well worth the money . She was very careful with us and it felt great to have the guide to ourselves.

Excellent city tour with a great guide. On time, spoke perfect English, knowlegable. Knew about the history of Rio as well as the culture. Eduardo drove us around the city with numerous stops to explain the sites as well as to take photos. 5 star tour with a 6 star guide. Brian

This tour is also highly recommended. Manuela, our tour guide was also very nice, personable and kind. She was very informative and we learned a lot about the city - we felt we got a good feel about the city , culture , economy and people's way of life. She showed us and visited the highlights of the city and enjoyed them all. We were also given shopping time and felt very safe with her constant watch.

Guide was very accommodating my wife had difficultly with the tile steps, some 200 . Driver took my wife around to the bottom where we met up. Great service.

Selaron Staircase was a highlight of our Rio tour. A must for anyone coming to Rio. The tour was flexible with the itinerary as we were able to go to places we chose rather than a rigid itinerary. Our tour guideI believe Manuela was very nice and did a good job answering our questions. Our driver was really great as well.
