You will meet us at the meeting point located in Silfra, Thingvellir National Park. The tour is approximately 3 hours from arrival to the end of the tour.

Upon arrival at Silfra, your guide will give you your dry suit and snorkeling equipment, and explain how to use this equipment. The guide will also give you advice on how to stay warm and comfortable during your 30 to 40 minute snorkeling tour of the Silfra Hall, Silfra Cathedral, and Silfra Lagoon sites. All participants need to have read and signed the Snorkeling Silfra Medical Statement(view here: https://www.dive.is/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Silfra-snorkeling-medical_Final.pdf ) and sign our liability release form at the start of the tour (view here: https://www.dive.is/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/AA_LIABILITY_SNORKELING_2016.pdf )

After the tour you will be offered a hot chocolate and cookies to warm up.

All participant heights, weights and age must be provided to local operator. If you did not provide at time of booking, please contact supplier immediately after booking to provide this information.
Participants must be at least 14 years of age
We recommend wearing long thermal underwear and thick wool socks as a base layer under the dry suit
Minimum height is 4ft 11in (150cm). Minimum weight is 100lbs (45kg).
Maximum height and weight is 6ft7in (200cm) and 264lbs (120kg).
Participants must be comfortable in water and able to swim, physically fit and healthy
Please note that that dry suits can sometimes feel quite tight and constricting
All participants must be able to communicate in English.
Not suitable for pregnant women
Dry suits are worn over your own clothing
Recommended to bring a change of clothes and warm undergarments

A must do for water lovers visiting Iceland. Mikhail was an excellent guide and we had plenty of time to explore the lagoon after swimming through the Silfra fissure. The dry suit kept us warm throughout the excursion.
