Milford Sound. It was mind blowing 3 hours cruise. Excellent ambience. Must visit place. Most scenic place in the world. Best time to visit is September. Had a great time with my husband.
This tour was fantastic! Our tour guide/driver, Adrian, was very knowledgeable, funny, and entertaining on the drive to and from the Milford Sound. The boat tour on the Sound was INCREDIBLE! What a beautiful and amazing place -- we can't wait to go back again on our next trip to New Zealand with our kids. The boat tour also provided a great deal of knowledge with their Naturalist on board. This was a 12.5 hour day-long tour, but it was well worth the cost and the time.
coach is designed for great views - open top is a good addition as you can watch over head. cruise is must
We thoroughly enjoyed the day even though it was long. If one had the time, it would be better to take a 2 or 3 day trip with a stay in Te Anau overnight.
