Definitely worth its price! The road to the Milford Sound was gorgeous, the lunch was good, the cruise was amazing. The flying back to Queenstown on that small plane was so interesting and sweetly short, it was like icing on a cake! In very short time we were back into the town and delivered to the hotel!
If you're considering making this trip from Queenstown, this is the tour company to take. Our driver did a wonderful job on the long drive to Milford Sound by keeping everyone on the minivan involved by asking us questions, all the information he imparted and stops along the way. The BBQ lunch was at a beautiful park. While our driver cooked, he sent us on a hike down to a river/lake. By the time we returned, lunch was waiting for us. Then it was the final stretch to Milford Sound where we boarded the boat for the cruise through the Sound. Absolutely beautiful.
