Ihr Abenteuer beginnt am Morgen mit der Abholung von Ihrem Hotel durch einen freundlichen Reiseleiter. Danach werden Sie von der Crew an Bord der „Paradise“ willkommen geheißen und erhalten tropische Erfrischungen. Ein PADI-zertifiziertes Tauchteam spricht mit Ihnen Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsmaßnahmen durch und gibt Ihnen eine Einführung in das Schnorcheln, bevor die Segel gesetzt werden. Jedem, der eine Schwimmweste haben möchte, wird eine solche bereitgestellt.

Nach dem Verlassen des Yachthafens fahren Sie zur östliche Seite von Isla Catalina zu einer Schnorchelstelle, die auch bekannt ist als „The Wall“, der perfekte Ort für Schnorchler aller Erfahrungsstufen. Springen Sie in das klare, türkisfarbene Wasser und genießen Sie unglaubliche Sicht auf das atemberaubende Unterwasser-Ökosystem in der Tiefe. Zurück an Bord erwarten Sie leichte Erfrischungen und unterhaltsame Musik.

Danach geht mit dem Bootes weiter zur westlichen Seite der Insel an einen privaten Strand. Trinken Sie verschiedene Getränke, alkoholische wie alkoholfreie, während Sie sich entspannen und die Zeit am Strand genießen. Schnorchelausrüstung steht zur Verfügung, um Stellen vor dem Strand zu erkunden, falls gewünscht. Ein bekannter Koch mit dem Namen „Bobby“ serviert ein köstliches dominikanisches Barbecue mit frisch gefangenem Fisch (für VIP-Gäste), Schwein, Huhn, Salaten, Pasta und regionalen Früchten. Verbringen Sie den Rest des Tages am Strand, entspannen Sie sich im Wasser und erkunden Sie die nahe gelegenen Schnorchelstellen.

Am Nachmittag fährt das Boot zurück zum Yachthafen. Genießen Sie unterwegs leichte Erfrischungen an der Bar und Musik vom Entertainment-Team. Taucher helfen Ihnen beim Einsammeln der Schnorchelausrüstung und bieten Hilfe und Ratschläge, falls erforderlich. Sie kommen schließlich wieder im Yachthafen an und, wenn vom Tourunternehmen Beförderung von und zu Ihrem Hotel bereitgestellt wurde, finden Sie einen Reiseleiter und Bus, die Sie zurück zu Ihrem Hotel bringen.

Was alot of fun. Could have used more information. Time of pickup. sweated for the pickup time until last moment. Lobsters on island looked good did not bring enough cash to purchase. Idea of price before hand would have been helpful. Other than that great.

We were wondering what to choose between Saona or Caralina trip.Looking at different review and website to book our tour with lot of différents prices from 60€ to 180€, and I can confirm that this tour was almost perfect for only 60 per person.We met tourist Yahtzee they paid VIP packeged and they had the same as us.I would only rate the transportation as bad experience but I think randomly from time to time with all the hotel pick up you can be lucky or unlucky and lost time in bus, but it’s looks it’s all the same with all your operator.Once on the boat all great, good crew.After we arrived on the island at 2nd stop, the beach looks a paradise. Not too much people in the highest period of the season. You can also get lobster for price between 15 to 20$ once on the island.I would definitely recommended this tour.

Staff was wonderful, food was great, and Catalina Island is very beautiful! The snorkeling isn't great--not a very colorful reef or many fish. If you're doing it for the snorkeling, I'd pass. That being said, I'd go again in a heartbeat because of the staff and to go back to Catalina Island.

We were disappointed with this trip. Started with getting on the buses at the gift shop. No direction was given on how long we had there, how far the trip was from there, etc. 1 couple got on the wrong bus and we had to pick them up along the way. Bus was packed, no empty seats and no room for our snorkel gear. Get on the boat, it was packed as well, my knees hit the seat in front of me, again no room for our snorkel gear or any open seats. First snorkel site is deep, so if you have not snorkeled before, could be intimidating, we grabbed our gear and cleared out. Again, no communication on how long we were there. The lunch on the island was VERY GOOD. Snorkeling there is OK but beach is shared with other tour groups so crowded. Recap: If you want a tour where you are always guessing what is going on, want to be packed like sardines on the boat and bus, this is the tour for you.

I did this excursion last year when I visited the DR so I thought it would be as good this year. There was a lot of confusion with getting us to the boat. Our tour left an hour and a half late! We were supposed to leave at 9:30am but it was closer to 11 by the time we got on the boat. As soon as I entered the water, I could tell the coral was not as vibrant as last year. I do not know if tourism has affected it but you can definitely tell it is dying off along with a lot of the plants I saw last year. Be sure to expect 3 hours getting there and back.

We had a wonderful time! We were fortunate enough to have a very small group, so it felt very private and we were able to have one on one interaction with all staff/crew that accompanied us. Eileen, aka. Mama per all the younger staff, was fabulous! She was in charge of the whole adventure and she ran a very tight ship. Professional and gracious. The food and drinks were delicious, all you could eat and drink As we are aware, you can't please everyone, but we were there for the experience. To try new things. To step away from the familiar. Our experience, with this trip, exceeded our expectations!
