Amazing wine, scenery and overall had a great time with friends! Small group, pick up close from your central porto hotel/accommodation. Tour guide was excellent. We did the boat tour as well and loved it. Definitely recommend!

An amazing wine tour, with beautiful views. The people in Douro are so nice and the tour guide was very informative.

This tour was an excellent way to get a taste and a feel for the Douro Valley. Wine tasting at two places (the second place included lunch) and 30 minute cruise on the river in between with some gorgeous views. This was a small group of 8 which was perfect!

Friendly helpful guide Bruno was very informative. We were picked from our accommodation and dropped back at the end of the day. The tour included a beautiful trip on the Douro river. We also had tastings at 2 Quintas including at Quinta de Beijo where we tasted wines and ports including a 58 year old white! We also had great lunch included in the trip. All in all a great day out. Would certainly recommend.

Overall good trip-lunch was really average-Have eaten in better places in rural Portugal 8 seater vans have an inherent disadvantage.The back seaters can barely hear anything when the guide /driver is talking Turning around and talking while driving is not advisable They definitely need to have an audio device to communicate

Outstanding tour, highly recommend. Our guide, Sergio, was fantastic. And would definitely add the river cruise, as that was a wonderful addition to the experience.

I have travelled extensively with my partner and we have done many tours, however i can honestly say this was the best tour we have ever done. Alex our tour guide could not have been any better, he was accommodating, professional and made us feel so special all day. We had never had port before but Alex taught us all things port, so were now port experts ourselves haha. Soon as we left porto, the green countryside was absolutely stunning, so romantic. We stopped at many view points whilst driving for photo opportunities, so we have the most beautiful photos as memories. I plan to take my mum to Porto next year and will definitely be taking her on this tour, i cant wait to do it all again. P.s. the boat tour was well worth the extra money, and buy a bottle of wine at the first vineyard to enjoy on the boat.

Our tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable (not to mention a great driver). Both wine tastings were wonderful. The first winery was a smaller, family owned vineyard where you were able to see one type of production. Not only did we try various types of wine but the owners also provided us with and olive oil and various flavors of honey all made by them. We were able to actually walk in the vineyard and taste some grapes straight from the vine as well as take pictures. Our guide stopped at a viewing point with some of the most gorgeous views to take pictures and look around. The traditional lunch provided was great and they were able to take into account all our food restrictions. The boat ride was not with just our group but none the less it was very pleasant and we were able to see some beautiful sights. The drive to the second winery was very rocky and narrow but our driver made us feel very comfortable and safe. The second winery was larger and we were actually able to see the machines used and where the wine is stored while walking through the facility. The second winery provided us with chocolates, cake, and crackers to go along with the 5 types of wine. Our guide made everyone feel very relaxed and brought the group together. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit the Duoro Valley.

We did the Douro Valley your with Violeta which was brilliant! Small intimate group, experienced guide who was lovely -knowledgeable, fun and had a great sense of humour!

We didn't have a ton of time in Porto so we were debating doing this, but it was literally our favorite day! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and nice, everything was on schedule, the vineyards were beautiful, and all the food and drinks were delicious!

The scenery is unmatched in its magnificent beauty! Bruno was a great guide, full of knowledge and positivity all day too. We greatly enjoyed the history, wine, ice cream and historic village stop, and the lunch provided. Thank you!

On the route: amazing beautiful landscapes and places!! Douro valley is a must visit while in Porto!! Our tour guide Louis was very knowledgeable, passionate and kind, considering we ha 3 small children! The lunch we had was he most authentic Portuguese food I've had in Porto! The wine tasting was excellent, too, plenty of wines ! Overall, donthis tour!

A great day trip out to the Douro Valley - group of 6 plus Alex the guide. A knowledgeable chap keen to share his knowledge and passion for Duoro. Excellent choice of visits the olive oil and wine producers. A traditional lunch was enjoyed by all. Not having lots of time the boat trip was great to get a feel for the valley. We will be back to explore it more.

The Douro Valley is a National treasure for Portugal. Beautiful scenery and great Port wine to be tasted. Our guide Matthieu was knowledgeable, patient and engaging. I recommend the tour highly as a great way to experience The Douro!

Our small group tour comprised 4 couples in an 8 seater van. The pre-tour arrangements were well organised and we were picked up on time from our hotel. Unfortunately, the microphone in the van was broken which meant that we missed most of the commentary on our way to the Douro Valley. This problem had previously been reported to the company by the guide. We were allocated the back seats and were not given the option to rotate throughout the day, even though we were the oldest members in the group. We enjoyed the company of our fellow travellers and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The scenery was superb and the wine tasting enjoyable. However, the main course for our lunch was tepid and the vegetarians in our group were not initially catered for, despite forewarning of their dietary conditions. Some disappointments, but still a pleasant day.

Great guide and a great day out. Be sure to do the boat ride, buy some wine at the vineyard to have on the boat (they even had disposable cups at the ready!)

Thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn a little about port making and its rich history. Breath taking scenery was worth the visit alone along with a refreshing boat ride on the river to cool down! The tour was well presented by our guide and the whole day was a pleasure from start to finish.

Our guide, Pedro was fantastic. He showed us so much of the Douro Valley, it’s history and most importantly the wonderful winery’s. The traditional lunch we experienced in a very family oriented surrounding was just perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

By far, the best tour we took in Portugal, and we took 6. Our guide was funny, knowledgeable and made us all feel relaxed and enjoy the day. We were in a group with a beautiful family of 6 and we got to get the best guide ever! She stopped on our way, we had the chance to enjoy small towns and had delicious coffee. I will recommend this tour to everyone and hope that it up get as lucky as we did with our guide!

Our guide John was very knowledgable and easy going. Good to have a driver that is experienced and comfortable driving narrow windy roads on this region.

Violeta’s art history background and passion made for very interesting stories including the one about the first woman business owner and her contributions to the area. Our guide, Hugo, was so knowledgeable and enjoyable to travel with that we didn’t want the tour to end. Be sure to try the port ice cream!
