Tagestour zur James Bond-Insel ab Krabi mit dem Langboot mit optionaler Kajakfahrt
Nach einem kurzen Besuch im Tempel Wat Suwan Kuha, auch bekannt als „Monkey Cave,“ gehen Sie am Tadan Pier in der Nähe der Stadt Phang Nga an Bord eines traditionellen Langboots und fahren zur James Bond-Insel.
Die Phang Nga Bucht fand ihren Weg auf die Touristenkarten durch ihre Hauptrolle in dem James Bond-Film mit Roger Moore als 007 und sie ist sehr besonders aufgrund ihrer Kalksteinklippen, die vertikal aus dem kristallklaren smaragdgrünen Wasser ragen.
Sie besuchen das berühmte Khao Phing Kan, einen sehr hohen, schiefen Felsen mit kleinen Höhlen, wo Sie auch Verkaufsstände finden, die überwiegend aus wunderschönen Muscheln und Holz erstellte Souvenirs verkaufen. Sie spazieren über die James Bond-Insel und machen Sie ein Foto von Ko Tapu (auch bekannt als Nail Island oder Spike Island). Die Kalkstein-Felsformationen ragen etwa 20 Meter hoch mit einem Durchmesser von ca. 4 Metern am Boden und bis zu 8 Meter oben (daher der Name "Nail Island").
Weiter geht es zur Insel Thalu, wo Sie auf einer geführten Tour im Kajak den Mangrovenfluss, die riesigen Stalaktiten-Höhlen und die Kalksteinklippen erkunden (bitte buchen Sie hierzu die Kajakoption). Wenn Kanufahren nicht Ihr Ding ist, können Sie einfach nur die Sehenswürdigkeiten bestaunen, die die James Bond-Insel und ihre Umgebung zu bieten hat!
Das schwimmende Dorf Panyee ist Ihr Ort für das MIttagessen. Die natürliche Insel Panyee ist eine majestätische vertikale Masse aus Kalkstein. Fast das gesamte Dorf sitzt hoch oben auf einem riesigen Netz von Pfählen, die bis zu den Klippen an der Küste der Insel reichen und sich über das Meer in einem Labyrinth von erhöhten Plattformen und Wegen erstrecken.Sie fahren dann langsam zurück zum Pier und machen einen letzten Halt am Raman-Wasserfall. Ein Ort mit einer Vielzahl von Flora und Fauna, wie z. B. Affen, Hirsche, Eichhörnchen und Vögel.

A very good trip. Well organised and professional staff. Only thing I would change would be the length of the tour. Slightly to long the waterfall at the end could be dropped. One stop to many. Would still highly recommend.
it's just too crowded.. i felt like a sardine. First it took two hours with the minivan. We arrived at a harbour and took a longtail boat with 50 other tourists, to arrive at a kayak place. Meaning, you could step in a kayak and a thai guy was kayaking for you, between 100 other kayaks full of Chinese tourists on a 100 m spot in the sea. Then we took the longtail boat again to James Bond Island, a mini spot with again too many tourists... Lunch was for me the most horrible part. Arriving with the boat, eating with 100, maybe 1000 people at one place.... I really wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The whole tour was amazing...As we stayed in Railay no pickup service was there, so we reached late.. luckily the local tour operator was still expecting us... I spent the bus journey happily talking with fellow passengers and informing them about the places to cover...the longtail was good enough..and the journey was mesmerizing !! Phang Nga Bay can be memorized for the lifetime... Little more time than 40 mins could be better in James Bond Island..Kayaking trip is a must under the stalactite sea caves... Astoundingly beautiful Ko Panyee island offered the best food of my whole Thailand Trip..monkey Cave temple has a lot of secrets,,finally the waterfall inside the jungle completed all my wishes from this wonderful country... THanks a lot to VIATOR,, !!

As a James bond fan , I loved it.but would of liked to have stayed longer
Tour was good and informative, albeit a bit of a journey from Krabi, mostly by car 2 hours. The boat ride to the island itself was only 30 minutes. JBI was not what I imagined: very small and super crowded with vendors. But I got to check off a travel item and despite the crowds I got good, unobstructed photos. The tour itself was fine, lunch was great and plentiful. We got drenched on the boat, the water was a bit rough but it was sunny and hot that day so it wasn't a big deal. Recommended.
