Meet your guide in front of the Wellington Street Train Station and travel by comfortable coach approximately 30 minutes to the Swan Valley, Perth’s premium food and wine destination.

Begin your afternoon tour visiting two iconic boutique wineries where you will enjoy a wine tasting and hear about the local history of the area.

Next, enjoy a delicious cheeseboard before visiting the Margaret River Chocolate Company to taste a range of iconic and delicious chocolates and a truffle. Pop next door to the Providore to sample the gourmet produce and taste their fine liqueurs. Feel free to purchase a few gifts to bring home with you before you depart.

Sit back and relax late afternoon as you glide down the Swan River on your cruise back to Barrack Street Jetty. Make sure to bring your camera with you as you take in the stunning surrounding views.

Your tour ends at Barrack Street Jetty at approximately 6pm.

What a lovely experience. The wineries and chocolate tasting were great but the the highlight was the river cruise. Stepped on board to a lovely afternoon tea and then local wines but then, one of the staff starts singing and has an unbelievable voice and stage personality. So unexpected. Great staff who make it a real experience. Well done.

What a lovely day we had on this tour. We enjoyed every minute of it. The highlight was definitely the river cruise back to Perth. Well done to Captain cook cruises for a lovely trip back to Perth with super afternoon tea, free wine and super entertainment.

The people, places and logistics of the half day Swan Valley wine, cheese and chocolate tour were fine. Unfortunately, it is the wine that gives this review only two stars. If you are familiar with California wine country in the United States, I would call the Swan Valley Australia's Temecula. Go for the scenery and to get out on the water for the ferry ride back, just manage your expectations for the wine.
