Panamakanal Miraflores-Schleusen und Stadtbesichtigung
Die Tour beginnt mit einem Besuch von Ancon Hill, wo Sie die Schönheit der Bucht von Panama und eine aufsteigende moderne Stadt bewundern können. Dieser Hügel ist der höchste Punkt in der Stadt von Panama, etwa 700 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel, wo Sie unter anderem die Stadt von Panama, die Altstadt, den Panamakanal, die Brücke der Amerikas sehen. Dann versetzen wir Sie zurück in unsere Geschichte. Die engen Gassen von Casco Viejo werden Sie genauso empfangen wie vor 300 Jahren.
Die Altstadt ist auch als Casco Viejo anerkannt und wurde zum Weltkulturerbe der UNESCO ernannt. Sie dürfen auf keinen Fall den Panamakanal verpassen. An den Miraflores-Schleusen (Besucherzentrum) können Sie das Manövrieren eines Schiffes beobachten, wie es durch die Schleusen gebracht wird und Sie erfahren mehr über eines der acht Weltwunder.
Anschließend geht es weiter zum Amador Causeway, dem schönsten und neu gestalteten Bereich der einstigen Panamakanalzone, heute ein Erholungsgebiet für die Bewohner von Panama wie auch ausländische Besucher. Zum Mittagessen gehen Sie in ein örtliches Restaurant, wo landestypische Speisen serviert werden, bevor Sie zurück zu Ihrem Hotel gebracht werden.

this tour gave me the opportunity to see the Panama canal - a lifelong dream - we were able to see the canal and watch both a ship and a submarine proceed through the canal as the lock filled with water allowing them to proceed - fascinating. We also got to see the bridge of the Americas and explore the old city of Panama - it was a great day - I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our group was also small with only 6 persons which made it more personal.
I ended up being the only one on this tour. JC was my guide. I did not want to walk too much so the tour was adjusted. JC was very knowledgeable and personable. I got to see everything that I wanted to and we even stopped to shop for souveneirs. I highly recommend this tour.

This man is amazing. i feel like i did/saw everything in one day. Please do this tour. he was professional, courteous, He knew was he was talking about. He brought us everywhere. We saw/understood Panama in just one day. He also does other tours. Guy, he is the guy. he gave me his card, im going to post it her. just email him and he will answer all of your questions. He is amazing. Please wear tennis shoes, bring water ( i didn't but he provided me with water for free), and have fun. bring some money for food, and please trust him wherever he brings you. This guys was freaking out thinking we were gonna die just because here was an area of history Tony brought us that was not the best looking. like, he was being so dramatic and annoying. please don't be that guy. He does other tours too such as bird watching, snorkeling, kayak, etc. I just truly enjoyed this tour. Best part of my stay in Panama. He even brought us to a restaurant in between the your (please bring money for that), and i had the best fish fillet. sigh. also he'll bring you to a duty free place as well.
Great day out! I was the only person on this tour, so I basically got a personal tour guide of the city. I really appreciated that, since the day before my tour got canceled because I was the only one that had booked the tour. Overall, it was great learning about the locks and JJ amazing guide made sure I had a great seat to see the ships coming through the locks. He also provided more history of not just the locks, but also the city. He gave me a tour of the old quarter and took me to some scenic areas to take pictures. I highly recommend, especially if you're a solo traveler!
