El Valle Explorer

Leave early for a 2-hour drive to Panama’s famous valley, El Valle. This valley is home to the nearly extinct Golden Frog. More fit or adventurous travelers can enjoy a hike on the famous India Dormida trail (Wednesdays) and enjoy breathtaking views of the valley from above 3,000ft. A shorter version of this hike brings you to petroglyphs and waterfalls (Sundays). There is a zoo with a Golden Frog exhibit and other exotic animals indigenous to Panama, a zip-line adventure option (additional cost of $60 pp), and of course, Panama’s most famous artisan market! We depart from El Valle around 2pm to avoid traffic. Additional side trip to the beach available.
