Azuero: Our People and Culture

Experience the local people and traditions of the Azuero Pennsula and discover the manufacturing process of the traditional products of the Herrera Province: sugarcane, salt, clay and bread. Also, visit the local workshops where the colorful devil masks and music drums are produced and meet the local seamstresses who make the Pollera (the typical dress of the Panamanian women). You will also enjoy a nature experience in the Herrera Highlands which hosts an interesting pre-Columbian history and go horseback riding along beautiful trails and a river.
