The first time beginner scuba diving experience is a half-day charter with two shallow (to 40 feet) introductory boat dives, each at a different Hawaii scuba diving site. There are no study guides or tests to worry about, we will teach you what you need to know with a few quick skill lessons before you enter the water.

Beginner Scuba Diving allows participants to dive in Hawaii's open water under direct SCUBA instructor supervision. It is designed to encourage scuba diving exploration for beginners and allow people to satisfy their curiosity about Hawaii scuba diving that is both safe and enjoyable.

This first time scuba diving experience quickly moves people into the Hawaiian open water environment. After some basic straight forward knowledge and simple skill development sessions, participants scuba dive in small groups at two of our great Hawaii scuba diving sites here in Oahu.

Waiting 18 hours after diving is required before flying.
All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. A yes answer to a pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, lung or sinus problems, etc) will prevent you from diving and tour will be converted to snorkeling only. Medical questionnaire available in advance by request.

This was the best thing we have done on our trip. Highly recommend going with them if you want to scuba dive. Ken and Jeff were great instructors and help you through everything including staying calm and having fun. Also, the price was great compared to others and they even offer free pictures and videos

Jeff and Ken were great instructors. They were very patient and extremely safety conscious. I went diving with my 14 yr old son who had never gone ocean diving before. We were pretty pumped that we could go together on an open water dive. We saw many types of fish and even a couple of sea turtles. Jeff and Ken were knowledgeable and dedicated guides. And...as an added bonus, they took many photos of us underwater which was included in the price. The Rainbow Scuba guys rock!
