Meet your guide at your hotel in New Delhi in the morning to begin this full-day, private excursion of Old Delhi. First, visit the Jama Masjid Mosque which has three gates, four towers, and two 130-foot (40-meter) high minarets constructed from red sandstone

Stop At: Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi Road, New Delhi 110002 India

Next, it's off to Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.

Stop At: Chandni Chowk, Near Red Fort, New Delhi 110006 India

Once you get tired of walking, hop on a cycle rickshaw to ride through the city's small lanes, immersing yourself in the local culture.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Qutub Minar, Qutb Minar, Mehrauli, New Delhi 110030 India

Take a break for lunch (at own expense) and then visit Qutub Minar, the second tallest of its kind in India and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Next, is Humayun's Tomb which was commissioned by Humayun's first wife, Bega Begum, and has a square garden with water channels in the center

Drive Past from India Gate

Pass By: Parliament House, Sansad Marg, New Delhi 110002 India

We had a thoroughly great day. Our guide was very knowledgeable but also gave us time and space to wander and expire on our own. Loved the Richshaw ride. Can't think of anything that I didn't like or agree with. Well worth doing this trip I think.
