Sorrent, Amalfiküste, Positano und Pompeji: Ganztägiger Landausflug ab Neapel
1 day
Ganztags

Great trip - views were amazing. Pompeii was highlight and our tour leaders knowledge and ability to get us through and into the interesting parts despite the crowds was excellent.
The only reason for the 4 star vs 5 was stops were a bit rushed, which was no fault of the tour company, just due to traffic and trying to get everything in. Our guide Robbi ( nickname for her full name ) was very informative and easy to understand. Driver was excellent under some hairy condiontions around the Amalfi Coast. Saw a lot and would highly recommend
Our guide Francesca was phenomenal. Our driver was so calm even when our bus broke a fan belt on the Amalfi coast he got the bus to a safe place and got us back on the road quickly. The timing was perfect and the guided tour at Pompeii was perfect. Francesca squeezed in so much info and kept us a a good pace to see a lot.
Do yourself a favor and book this excursion. Now that that's out of the way I'll tell you why, Tomais (I'm not entirely sure how to spell his name but he also went by Tom) IS AMAZING! Tom is an excellent tour guide who really shares his passion for Napoli. This is an all day tour and worth every penny so yes you will be exhausted after 8=9 hours of travel but you will see some of the most breathtaking places on the planet. From the cool breeze of the Amalfi coast to the charming quaint small town feel of Sorrento and Positano to the step back in time as you see the ancient ruins of Pompeii. It's a once in a lifetime experience. Tom is extremely accommodating (it was extremely hot the day we went) and incredibly knowledgeable. His sense of humor is the cherry on top as this made the entire trip memorable all while making sure we got back to our ship on time.
We really enjoyed our tour. We had the best tour guide. She is wonderful and very informative. the only drawback is we don't have enough time. 9 hours simply just not enough for all these beautiful places. we will be back!
Really enjoyed this trip. Beautiful area. The tour guide was very helpful and kind. I wish we had more time in Positano. This trip is worth it!
Tomas was a wonderful tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable about Naples, Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii. This tour was the highlight of our trip. We will definitely visit this area again. Tomas was molto bene!
This is a perfectly arranged tour spending time in Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii! To go around all these places in 8-9 hours with the traffic of Amalfi Coast do need skillful driver. Thanks to the 'pilot' Vincenzo. Our guild, Francesco was friendly and got everyone organized. At Pompeii the archaelogical guild was very knowlegeable. I almost want to give this tour 100/100. Deducted 1 point for the meeting point at the cruise terminal, chaotic with lots of people running around meeting their tour group. Many congrats!
This tour has been the best shore excursion i had booked with Viator during our cruise the the Mediterranean. Our guide Tommaso Starace has been kind, courteous, funny, accommodating and very knowledgeable, you could really sense his deep love for his hometown of Naples! And our driver was excellent, such skill driving aling the narrow winding roads! I learned alot from this tour and thoroughly enjoyed it!
This tour was great. Franchesca, our tour guide, was great and made the tour even more enjoyable. The views we're beautiful on the coast. Must try the lemon Icy which is the best I've ever had. Sorrento was good for shopping and lunch. The pizza was tasty. Pampeii was very informative but was a little long. Overall was a great tour.
Amalfi coast is just so beautiful.. not to be missed. And Naples .. oh I wished I had bought more limoncellos.. highly recommended tour and the guide very knowledgeable and helpful
We loved this tour and Sylvia was amazing, friendly, funny and knowledgable. We loved the ride around Amalfi coast, we stopped for an hour in Positano. Also we stopped in Sorrento for an hour and last stop was Pompeii (extra 15 euros per person entrance fee) .So much history and beautiful scenery. The tour was worth the money compare to the cruise ship excursion was the best price.
Luca was our guide....best ever ...would recommend this excursion to all...ask for Luca!!...had complete knowledge of all areas
The tour was fabulous. Loved using Viator instead of cruise line tours. The pick up and drop off from cruise port in Naples was easy. would definately use again.
We stood around a long time on the dock while they tried to get organized. We were told to go with Roberto but he wasn't there yet then we were introduced to Maximo but then told "no, no, he is not your driver. You are with Roberto" Then, as Maximo is leaving we over hear, "Maximo is taking people from the Jade" We were on the Jade so my husband goes to the "clipboard lady" and informs her that we are also from the Jade. She panics, calls Maximo, rushes us to where they are loading in a van. Now there are 8 passengers and we all pile into the van amid cries of "I get car sick" Well, the windows are small and the very back seat doesn't really have visibility at all so unless you are in the front next to the driver (play the "car sick" card) you will be stuck for a long drive from the port to one, merciful, photo stop (3 minutes) and on to Positano. We got glimpses of Positano as we approached which would have been cool to get out and photograph but bumper to bumper traffic wouldn't allow. We were dropped off in the middle of the town where "you can't see the forest for the trees." Those pictures of Positano on the ad...you don't get to see that view AT ALL. We had one hour which was enough time to walk down the quaint, steep, winding paths to the shore (a little better picture but not great) and back up the strenuous, steep, winding paths to the drop-off before we were stuffed into the back of the van and carted to Sorrento-no photo stops, just glimpses if you crane your neck along the way. Maximo dropped us off near TriAnon pizzaria in Sorrento which he recommended as great Neapolitan pizza. We only had an hour here so we opted to walk down the main pedestrian thoroughfare and back before ordering very good pizza to go. Eating the pizza in the van on the way to Pompeii kept my mind off the fact that we couldn't see anything. We did get a weirdly long photo stop to see Vesuvius across the bay. We were worried and wondering why we were stalling getting to Pompeii since we only had a couple of hours before we had to be back on the boat. Turns out the other groups that we were joining with at Pompeii were running very late. We ended up standing around the entrance to Pompeii until some of us wondered if it was even possible to do this part of the tour and get us back on the boat on time. By the time everyone (35ish) and the guide showed up and we got our headsets on there was barely an hour to race through the extreme crowds.
Yes yes yes. We find the trip to be soooo good, over our expectations, Mario the driver was a really nice and well behaved man, talked very good english and maked a really good impression on us. The trip was very save and well planned and the car was really nice to. we give the trip 10/10, nothing to complain about exept the rainy weather, hehe. We will absolutley book a day tour from Viator again the next time we will travel somewere. Our guide in Pompeii was absolutely perfekt to, he talkt perfekt engish, he was funny and explained everything in such a good and interesting way. We had our 8 year old son with us, and he showed him many things in Pompeii and let him be a part of the tour in a way that we thinked was nice. 10/10 on that to.
We were so impressed with this tour. Our driver Carlo was so nice and helpful from the first moment. The drive to Positano was absolutely stunning. Sorrento has gorgeous! And our tour guide Carmine topped off the rest of the day with a wonderful guided tour of Pompeii. I would’ve missed so much about that site without his guided additions!
Te tour was wonderful. GREAT ride to Amalfi Coast. As for Pompeii I cannot say enough about your guide. Tititanna (I hope I got that right) was wonderful. She gave us a story about the city, people from before the volcano to the time it happened. Would recommend her as well as our driver. 5 stars to you.
Excellent! Even though we couldn't do the Amalfi Coast due to the weather, the Sorrento and Pompeii excursions were just magnificent. The day was rainy but our hearts warm and happy. Our guide, Lucca, was just excellent
Amazing guide, fantastic locations this excursion the best of our two cruises. Much better value than the shore excursions offered onboard. Pompeii was probably the highlight and our guide was so passionate about the location we throughly enjoyed the experience and learnt so much.
We had a great guide and driver! Fabio was very helpful and knowledgeable. Fabio did have a cute way of saying Olives... so we were messing with him and told him the proper way to say. (not O-lives). The driver Salavtore was also great at getting thru the small roads. I also thought he was very handsome, wish we had more time to chat. We went as a group of four but I wanted to also do a review even though my Friend booked thru her Viator acct. I'm also a member on Viator but wasnt sure how to review something that was not under my bookings.
When our cruise ship was going to port in Naples, I knew I wanted to see the Amalfi coast specifically Positano and my husband wanted to see Pompeii. This tour was the perfect combination of both! Positano was STUNNING and so many of the other tours don't take you there... but its a MUST SEE! Sylvia was our guide and she was magnificent! She had so much knowledge to share while we were driving to our destinations and she's also the one who toured us through Pompeii! We obviously wish we had more time at each location, but there are only so many hours in port, and we maximized our time to the fullest! We highly recommend this tour, and Sylvia, too!
Considering the cost of this
