Pompeji ist eine Stadt in der Ebene am Osthang des Vesuvs, rechts vom Unterlauf des Flusses Sarno. Hier befindet sich eine der größten Ausgrabungsstätten der Welt, die zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört, und die Stadt ist ein sehr beliebtes Reiseziel, auch dank des Heiligtums Unserer Lieben Frau vom Rosenkranz. In der Ausgrabungsstätte wurde die antike römische Stadt, die durch den plötzlichen Ausbruch des Vesuvs im Jahre 79 n. Chr. begraben wurde, wieder freigelegt. Der Regen aus Asche und Lava und die daraus resultierende dicke Staubschicht wurden kristallisiert und haben Pompeji so seit Jahrhunderten erhalten.
Zurück an der Oberfläche ist Pompeji die meistbesuchte Ausgrabungsstätte der Welt.

Amalfi ist ein international bekanntes Reiseziel und berühmt für seine unvergleichliche Schönheit und das milde Klima. Diese Stadt an der südlichen Küste der Halbinsel von Sorrent, auch bekannt als die Amalfiküste, ist von den Ausläufern der Lattari Berge umschlossen. Die weißen Häusern und engen Straßen, viele von ihnen mit Stufen, charakterisieren dieses Dorf, ein typisches Beispiel für die mediterrane Architektur. Es ist auch Sitz des Erzbischofs. Die Kathedrale von St. Andreas ist das beeindruckendste Gebäude von Amalfi: eine seltene Schönheit, erbaut im 9. Jahrhundert und umgebaut im Jahre 1203 im arabisch-normannischen Stil, und mehrmals restauriert, hat feierliche Stufen an der Seite des Glockenturms (XII-XIII), der die Polychromie, typisch für die romanische Architektur der Gegend, bewahrt.
Das Tal, bekannt für sein Tierleben und die Natur, ist jetzt ein Naturschutzgebiet und UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe, und Sie werden auf angenehmen Spaziergänge hier verzaubert.

Im Zentrum der Amalfiküste befindet sich Positano auf den Berghängen der Berge Comune und Sant'Angelo a Tre Pizzi. Dank dem milden Klima und der Schönheit der Landschaft war Positano seit der Zeit des Römischen Reiches bereits ein Kurort, belegt durch die Entdeckung einer Villa und jüngere Entdeckungen u.a. aus dem Jahre 2004. Vom Dorf aus führen die vielen typischen „Scalinate“-Stufen zu den Stränden, der Spiaggia Grande, und der Fornillo, beide in Fußnähe, andere sind La Porta, Arienzo und San Pietro Laurito, alle erreichbar vor allem über das Meer. Die Stadt mit Häusern in der typischen, sich an die Felswand anschmiegenden Bauweise, ist ein einzigartiger urbaner und architektonischer Komplex mit langen Treppen, engen Gassen und Wachtürmen entlang der Küste.

We recently went on this tour as an excursion from the Naples port. Francesco was our driver and he was absolutely phenomenal. He gave us great information about the areas we were touring and gave awesome recommendations for restaurants, ensuring we tried the local desserts. We felt like we got to experience so much in such a short amount of time, but never felt rushed. Francesco felt more like a friend than a driver, which speaks to his exceptional customer service. We will certainly book a tour with the same company in the future. It exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

When we exited our cruise ship our tour guide (Paulo) was awaiting our arrival. We were escorted to a very comfortable, clean van where we began our trip to the Amalfi Coast. Paulo is so knowledgeable about the area. We were experiencing a bit of rain when we left the ship and the drive on the narrow streets to the coast were a bit fogged in but we never had any concerns because Paulo is a wonderful driver. We were able to spend time in Ravello, Amalfi and Sorrento and did see Postiano, but because one of my companions had limited walking ability Paulo suggested we see and spend time where the walking was less difficult. What a wonderful day, and his lunch suggestion was excellent. Since Pompeii was so big and the walking would be difficult for our one companion so he took us to a free newer part where they are still excavating full of students and teachers studying the ruins. We enjoyed Paulo's company, suggestions and learning about his family and about Naples. Thank you Paulo! You are the best!

This is the perfect tour to explore the coast without any stress. A full day trip well worth the expense. Our tour guide Paolo spoke very good English and was very informative

I just want to say how much we loved this tour. Our driver Paulo was so great. We had a comfortable van along with great accommodations with our meals. Paulo knew exactly where to go when it came to the sights, food, and experience. I’m very picky when it comes to booking shore excursions and day tours but am glad I chose this one! This experience was simple from the point of getting off the ship and back on! Definitely book as it saves you a ton of money rather than booking on the ship.

This is a great tour! We were picked up at our Villa in Praiano (which is a HUGE convenience!) by Francesco and driven directly to Pompeii. In Pompeii, we paid Maria for a guided tour (optional but I highly recommend). She was extremely knowledgeable, and Pompeii was amazing. After Pompeii, Francesco continued our tour of the Amalfi Coast - driving us with narrative along the way and stopping for photo opportunities. We stopped in Positano and Amalfi for free time and headed back to Praiano. Great tour. 5 stars.

Grace and Danilo were wonderful! We felt safe with Danilo driving us on those very narrow and steep hill sides. Grace was very knowledgable about the area. The Amalfi coast was stunning and Positano was so much fun we sampled lemoncello and had a local snack. shopped the little narrow streets and quaint shops full of art work and ceramics from local artists. We stopped for some beautiful photographs. Then had the best pizza in Pompeii at Grace's request. She even called a head and made us a reservation.. Then on to Pompeii ruins with a headset tour. a long hot day but it was so worth it! I would highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time on our tour, thanks to Angelo - the King of the Amalfi Coast. He was great fun. It was the prefect private tour for our group of 6. Angelo also took us to for a quick visit to the Grotta dello Smeraldo. An excellent way to see a lot in a small amount of time we had for our visit to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast.
