Private Tour from Munich to Salzburg - scenic route

Meet your local professional guide at your Munich hotel and drive along some of Bavaria's most beautiful Alpine Landscapes as you always travel along the northern part of the Alps on local roads to Bad Toelz. The entire route is very scenic and will offer many great photo opportunities. Enjoy some Bavarian specialty (own expense) and explore the historical town center of the Bavarian town Bad Toelz.

From Bad Toelz the drive continues on back roads to Hellbrunn Castle, located at the outskirts of Salzburg. Hellbrunn Palace with its famous trick fountains and the Sound of Music Gazebo (16 going on 17) was used as a place for celebration, for pleasure and rehabilitation by the prince archbishops. You will receive a guided tour of the trick fountains followed by a tour of the castle. In winter you can visit Mozart's Residence instead.

The tour from Munich to Salzburg concludes with drop off at your Salzburg Hotel.

Meet your professional local guide and driver at your Salzburg hotel and hop on board of your luxury minivan. After a comprehensive minivan tour of the old city, including a visit of Salzburg’s landmark, the fortress ‘Hohensalzburg’, the Mirabell Gardens and Salzburg’s best view point, the M32 view terrace, you will continue to Leopoldskron Palace, used as the von Trapp family house in Sound of Music. Capture some pictures of the Palace with the fortress of Salzburg in the background.

Now the city tour continues to the Red Bull Hangar 7 museum. Opened in August 2003, the Hangar-7 is offering a blend of technology and emotion. Marvel at many Formula 1 race cars, a big collection of rare plains, the original space capsule of Felix Baumgartner, a changing art collection of pictures and a lot more. Red Bull Hanar-7 is also hosting a fine dining restaurant, the Ikarus and a bar. Should you plan to have dinner there be quick to make reservation, the Ikarus is fully booked almost every day.

The last highlight on this 6-hour private city tour is a boat ride on the river Salzach. Experience Salzburg’s Old town and surroundings from a very special perspective. After this 40-minute boat trip on the river the tour ends right in the town center (only from March to end of October, in winter we'll drive to Lake Fuschl with it's castle instead).
