Dedicated to the elephant-head deity God Ganesha, the provider of prosperity, the beautiful temple was originally consecrated in 1801. Participate in the evening Aarti ceremony, where the devotees will sing hymns for the God Ganesha and pray for their health and happiness. The whole temple is beautifully decorated with flowers and sparkling lights and every day over twenty-five thousand devotees flock the temple to offer their prayers and seek the blessing of the God.

This was a very awkward and poorly planned tour. Tour guide was 30mins late saying traffic. always traffic in bom. It was awkward to have him talk about things while ppl were trying to worship. Nothing about the Sea link ever discussed. No car, had to wait 20mins for taxi to dinner. Dinner ok.
