Beginning from the Iconic Gateway of India in Mumbai, this course gives guests the opportunity to learn the art of sailing. It is structured to ensure that you have fun while learning the art of sailing in a systematic manner.

Soak in the beauty of the Mumbai harbour, with the Taj and Iconic Gateway majestically standing guard.

Learn to cruise on the Beneteau 34.7, a 35-foot French cruising yacht equipped with a kitchen, marine toilet, compact bedrooms and saloon. The Beneteau 34.7 is the perfect boat to learn to cruise, as it is very seaworthy and comfortable, equipped with excellent safety standards, the latest technology and electronic equipment. You will be taught by highly qualified instructors who are passionate about teaching sailing, and are certified international instructors or local instructors of International standards.

By the end of the course, you will have have basic knowledge of sailing and seamanship and be familiar with the yacht and the harbor. You will also be awarded with an AYA Certificate of Competency. The course will begin and end at the Gateway of India, Mumbai.

Minimum age 16 years
Please wear clothes that are easy to sail in (light trousers, shorts, capri pants, etc.) Avoid tight and uncomfortable clothing. A cap and sunglasses are recommended.
Ideal footwear is comfortable with a good grip (ex: crocs, floaters, open sandals with straps). Please do not wear high heels.
