Trip not as advertised. Hotel pick up was on time. However, we hurried to a spot to stand around and wait around Grey Line buses. The first part of the tour was a quick trip through Belem and Alfama. The poorest moment was when the Port wine tasting advertised as included in the price of the tour, was, in reality, a free sample at a tourist shop see photo. The Lisbon city tour was a bust and left little time in the afternoon for the Sintra and seaside tour which amounted to mostly shots from the bus. The trip, I understood was advertised to run until 6 PM. However, we didn't arrive back until closer to 8 PM, which didn't upset our schedule, but it was another surprise. The whole trip was, in fact, two tours, and the guide miraculously spoke in 4 languages, Portuguese, Spanish, German and then English. The majority on the bus listened to the first 1-3 languages, by the time it got to English, the guide seemed out of steam. I don't believe we got the full report of what was said in the previous three languages and while we were listening in English, the remaining groups were speaking and at times we were unable to hear the report in English. I wouldn't recommend this tour as it was not as advertised, I had to self-advocate to get the provided hotel drop off, and the tour guide herself said the tour description I paid up for was not the same as she was operating. I have been happy with previous Viator tours in South Africa and Egypt and expected a European tour to be offered by the same quality service provider, however, I was sadly disappointed. I feel I lost a whole day visiting Lisbon and found little of the day to be redeeming. I signed up for a free walking tour offered in the city and would suggest others do this as well rather than pay this service. A smaller bus trip and more time in Sintra and touring the seaside, dropping off at better locations would have been better than what was offered to us.

Excellent tour and Portugal is the most lovable country in my whole Europe trip as people are friendly and you feel not like an alien. Sintra is excellent

I must say I was very disappointed with this Super Saver Tour. Took this tour on Oct. 10. It was pricey and we got only 10 mins in each place to take photo-shoot as the guide said. We only got to see the Belem Tower from a very far distance. Did not get to go close at all! We visited only the church of the Jeronimos Monastery, but not the Monastery itself. The tour said it included the free hotel pickup and dropoff. However we had only the pickup, but not the dropoff as I think the bus driver and guide were eager to go home after a long day! The guide Luisa is not knowledgeable. She did not give much history of the places we went. I think Cascais and the most western point in Portugal should have been in a different tour.

Perfect one-day, go almost everywhere tour. Starts off with the sights closest to the city center, back for lunch break and changing bus, and finishes with a long afternoon to must-see Sintra and picturesque Cascais.
