Lanzarote: Buggy-Tour
Ihr Erlebnis beginnt mit einer Abholung von Treffpunkten in Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca oder Costa Teguise.
Sie verlassen Tahiche und es geht in die Stadt Nazaret, die Heimat der Lagomar. Hier erhalten Sie einen Überblick über Omar Sharifs Haus und die Insel Lanzarote. Von Nazaret geht es auf einer Schotterstraße nach Teguise, der alten Hauptstadt der Insel. Sobald wir ankommen gibt es eine 20-minütige Kaffeepause und einen Spaziergang durch das historische Zentrum.
Wir fahren weiter Richtung Famara, von wo aus Sie die Inseln La Graciosa, Montaña Clara und La Alegranza sehen können, die zusammen mit Roque del Este und Roque del Oeste das Chinijo-Archipel bilden, eine natürliche Schönheit an der Nordküste Lanzarotes. Wir sehen auch die Sanddünenformationen von diesem Punkt aus. Hier genießen wir einen kurzen Halt für Fotos und Informationen.
Wir werden unsere Reise in Richtung Soo wieder aufnehmen, bis wir das hübsche Küstendorf La Santa erreichen. Von hier erreichen wir das Dorf Mancha Blanca, wo wir das Besucherzentrum besuchen, um zu erfahren, wie die alten Bewohner mit einem aktiven Vulkan lebten. Im Zentrum erleben Sie eine Simulation eines Vulkans im Inneren einer Höhle. Nach dem Besuch des Besucher-Centers geht es weiter nach La Geria durch einen inneren Weg, um die Malvasía-Plantage (typische Lanzarote-Trauben) zu sehen. Die Plantage ist sichtbar auf beiden Seiten der Straße und bedeckt ganz La Geria.
Dann geht es in Richtung Tinguatón Vulkan, wo wir einen Spaziergang ins Innere machen (ca. 30 Minuten). Nach dem Spaziergang gehen wir in einen Weinkeller für eine Weinprobe.

This was the worst tour I have ever taken I have traveled in 75 countries in my life. The guides could not be bothered with us at all. Besides not even telling us after we arrived at the center what was going on, or where to go, they never really spoke to use on the entire trip. So outside of using GPS on my phone, we were never told where we were, what we were seeing or anything about the islands, its sights etc. Worst of all, my buggy was too big for me I am 5'2. they got me a pillow, and i spent most of the trip so concentrated on not losing control because i could barely reach the petals and worried, sometimes downright panicked on sandy tracks, going fast - this was not safe, especially because it was really windy. I found out later there were buggies where the seat moved forward - but they just could not be bothered. At lunch, the guides sat together and left us to our own devices, never speaking to us - except of course to tell us that only certain thing on the menu were included in the price. the only person that bothered to speak to me at all from the staff was the nice Italian that picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off. I would not recommend this tour with this company. And as i am a journalist writing a travel article, i certainly won't compliment it in my article either. Let me put it this way: I could not wait until it was over. It's a shame because Lanzarote is a beautiful island, and a buggy is a nice way to see it, and on every prior trip, i wanted to take this tour. But the only reason that i knew what we were seeing or anything about it is because i have explored this island three times in a car on prior trips, and i had read up on places, and visited them before. Most of all, I feel really lucky that i didn't get hurt or hurt anyone. What a waste of 150 euros.
Not enough information was given, didn’t mention about driving license so I left them in hotel. Soon as I get in to the bus driver refused to wait for me until I bring license and just left without me that’s how I lost 100 pounds.
Such a great experience! Mattao was hilarious, informative and safety minded. Lanzarote is such an amazing and strange landscape, what better way to be see it then by 4 wheeler. My husband and I did the 3 hour tour and it was the perfect length of time to zip along the ocean, see some salt minds, and then head up towards the volcanoes. This is a trip that is meant for the physically strong though. My husband did all the driving, even though I have used 4 wheelers on horse farms in the past. Some of the areas were quite rocky and angular and I dont think I would have had the strength to keep us on the path. Highly recommend!
