I am so glad that I booked to go on the shuttle. The driver was very helpful and had various suggestions about where we got off and in what order. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the various places we visited and in particulr the Torc Waterfall.
Unfortunately when I booked this tour I thought even though we arrived in Killarney late we would get a full tour Starting the tour at 4:20 only allowed for one stop but the driver was very kind. Others on the shuttle bus looked pleased so I think it would be a good way to see the sights
This was a great way to get around the National Park and take a break from driving for an afternoon. Our driver, whose name I sadly didn't ask, was wonderful and went out of his way to make sure we knew when and where to met him on his return. He was always at least 5 minutes early. It was A service all the way!
We didn't get to this shuttle either. So we went to Muckross house and a quaint looking man with long red eyebrows asked if we would like to hire a ride on a carriage so that's what we did. Everything turned out swell and we were happy again!
Mick, the driver, was fabulous and the spots to visit were good but the amount of time at each stop was not well thought out - Ross Castle, for instance, There was not enough time for a tour so you either got off and walked around yourself or waited multiple hours which seemed like too much time. I would also suggest working on the printed schedule. Just about everyone that got on with us had questions about it because they were unsure how it worked.
