Die Reise beginnt um ca. 10:45 Uhr am weltberühmten Kate Kearney's Cottage in den Ausläufern von Irlands höchster Bergkette. Hier machen Sie einen 11 km langen Abstecher mit einer Pony-Kutsche durch das Gap of Dunloe, wo Sie ein spektakuläres Gletschertal sehen. Ihre Pony-Kutschfahrt endet an Lord Brandon's Cottage. Dort können Sie einen leichten Imbiss (nicht im Preis inbegriffen) genießen.
Nach dem Mittagessen, begeben Sie sich in die traditionellen offenen Boote. Sie werden dann durch die drei Seen von Killarney gefahren, vorbei an Innisfallen Island, Bricin Bridge, Colleen Bawn Rock, Torc Mountain, Old Weir Bridge, The Meetings of The Waters, um nur einige der Sehenswürdigkeiten zu nennen. Ihre Fahrt endet am herrlich restaurierten Ross Castle aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Die Bootsfahrt ist 14 km lang und dauert etwa 2 Stunden. Die Tour ist die perfekte Möglichkeit, die reichhaltige und vielfältige Vegetation und Landschaft zu sehen, die Killarney zu bieten hat. Die Tour endet um ca. 15:30 Uhr. Wonderful trip through the mountains and lakes. Mary was fun and informative. Even the most didn't dampen our enthusiasm.
My husband and I had an amazing time on the jaunting tour in the Gap of Dunloe - such a beautiful, magical Irish experience. The boat tour was also a great way to experience Killarney. One thing to consider - as a parent myself, I would not recommend the boat part of the tour for young children - as it ruins the experience for others. There were 2 small children on the boat that screamed and complained the entire time, and it was very distracting. Outside of that, we had an incredible time!
Experience included a small boat ride up the lakes with a fun and funny local boat driver and a cart and pony over the gap with interesting stops along the way. We went in the direction starting from Ross Castle so had to get a cab ride there but on the way back at the end of the trip the driver stopped in Killarney, a short walk from our hotel. Actually enjoyed this more than the more popular Ring of Kerry. Recommend them both.
If I could give it a ten I would! this was spectacular! We were late for the tour, thinking that it started at 10:45, when it started at 10:20, and we were walking running, really there from town. It is a long walk. Laura called us, and came to get us in her personal car!!!! Outstanding service!!! We started with the boat ride through the three lakes and two rivers with Dux! Awesome man! The water was beautiful and quiet. So serene!! then we met our trap driver to go thru the Gap. His name was Patrick, and he was wonderful and very funny! I read various reviews saying that the drivers didn't talk and it was boring...... No way!!!! Take the trap. It is a 7 mile walk and very hilly. Such amazing scenery! This is one of the best things that I have ever done while traveling!!! A must Do!!!!!!
We had a bit of bad luck with the weather on the day of this tour, but both operators for each leg pony/trap and open boat went above and beyond to make this as enjoyable as possible. Would definitely recommend!

This tour was a fantastic way to see the National Park. I would highly reccomend this tour!
