3days Mabula Game Lodge - Limpopo from Pretoria or Johannesburg

Set within an impressive 12 000 hectares of malaria-free Limpopo bushveld, Mabula Game Lodge is located just two-and-a-half-hours’ drive from Johannesburg. The varied habitats on Mabula Game Reserve provide ideal conditions for an astounding selection of large mammals including the Big Five, other predators such as Hyena and Jackal, and a variety of antelope. That’s not to mention the elusive cheetah, cheeky honey badger and the omnipresent crèches of warthogs that flit across one’s path during your game drive at Mabula Game Lodge. Game drives are offered to lodge guests twice a day once early morning and again in time for sundowners in the late afternoon, and depending on the time of year you visit, each experience can be unique. Watch the vivid change of the seasons as the green thickets and grasslands give way to the bushveld greys and yellows of autumn.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Johannesburg - Mabula Game Lodge

Upon arrival at the airport you'll be met by Bono Tours and Safaris' representative or the representative will come and collect you from your place residence then proceed to the Mabula Game Lodge- Mabula Game Reserve. The journey will take up to 2.5hours to the lodge. Mabula Game Lodge staff will welcome you arrival and assist you with your check in and explain to you on how the lodge operates and introduced to you your field guide who will be taking you on your safari for the duration of your stay. After check in your be escorted to your room to freshen up before leaving for the afternoon game drive to enjoy the BIG FIVE and what nature had to offer on that afternoon. Refreshments will be served during the course of the safari. Came back to the lodge early evening and dinner will be served.

Day 2. Mabula Game Lodge

Early wakeup call then meet your guide at reception for tea and coffee before leaving for a morning game drive. Enjoy your morning looking for the African wildlife then came back to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the day will be spent at the lodge relaxing by the pool at in your room or you can visit the SPA for proper relaxation. Then you leave again for the afternoon game drive into Mabula Game Reserve and come back at the lodge for dinner.

Day 3. Mabula Game Lodge

Early wakeup call then meet your guide at reception for tea and coffee before leaving for a morning game drive. Came back to the lodge after the morning game drive then have breakfast and check out. Then Bono Tours and Safaris representative will take you back to the airport or place of residence with fun filled memories.
