Jeep Safari of Jaipur countryside

One of the best ways to explore the stunning, rustic countryside around Jaipur is through a Jeep Safari. This tour will let you spend a day away from the hustle-bustle of Jaipur city and travel in a 4-wheel drive through small villages nestled amidst the rugged terrain of the Aravali Hills.

You will come across colourful temples, village schools, agricultural fields, camel carts, tractors playing loud music, shepherds herding sheep and other elements which are native to small city life. The shepherds are mostly from pastoral groups who raise camels, goats and sheep. The area is home to a variety of small mammals such as fox and deer and one can also see various migratory birds.

The safari will end with a shikar or hunting picnic in a rural setting. The picnic will be organised as it was done centuries ago when hunting was a popular sport amongst royalty who often ventured out for Shikaar, the Hindi word for Hunt.
