Nach dem Frühstück im Hotel beginnen wir die ganztägige Besichtigungstour durch Istanbul. Topkapi-Palast: die ehemalige kaiserliche Residenz, von der aus das Große Osmanische Reich regiert wurde. Heute ein spektakuläres Museum mit einer der größten Sammlungen von chinesischem und japanischem Porzellan und der sehr berühmten Schatzkammer der königlichen Familie. Dann fahren wir weiter zum antiken römischen Hippodrom; das ehemalige Zentrum der sportiven und politischen Aktivitäten von Konstantinopel. Sie sehen die Obelisken aus Ägypten, die Schlangensäule von Delphi und den Brunnen von Wilhelm II. Danach sehen wir die Hagia Sophia: Die herrlichste byzantinische Kirche aller Zeiten; eines der schönsten und größten architektonischen Kunstwerke der Welt. Wir setzen unsere Sultanahmet-Tour fort mit der Blauen Moschee; berühmt für ihre zarten blauen Fliesen und einzigartig mit ihren 6 Minaretten, erbaut im Namen von Sultan Ahmed. Und zu guter Letzt machen wir Halt am Großen Basar; eine der schönsten attraktiven Shopping-Möglichkeiten und der größte Souk in der Welt mit fast 4.000 Geschäften mit Antiquitäten, Schmuck, Gold, Teppichen und Lederwaren. Transfer zurück zu Ihrem Hotel.

Istanbul is a great city and this tour took us to many unique places. The tour guide was very professional and knowledgable. My only big complaint was the constant apparent expectation for us to buy stuff at the various shops we visited. The Turkish rug guy was a nice guy but very pushy in trying to get us to by a $2500 Turkish rug ! Are you kidding me ? We had slightly similar experiences in other shops on this tour. Because of that I have to downgrade the ratting from a 4 to a 3.

We had an amazing trip around the historical sites of Turkey. Our guide was called Emre and he made the trip come to life with his knowledge and enthusiasm. He also took us to local spots for lunch that did delicious Turkish food. We would definitely come again.

This tour gave a good intro to some of the more popular historical sights of the city. Our guide Ozlem was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to provide recommendations and answer questions about the city and Turkish culture. The pickup from our hotel was on time and went very smoothly with pickup confirmation and contact details of guide emailed to us in advance. The tour consisted of just 6 people and it was great to have such a small group. While the tour was guided, we were also given plenty of free time in each location to explore. As it was Sunday, the Great Bazaar was closed and we visited the Basilica Cisterns instead which was great. The only negative I could say would be the visit to the carpet shop which is posed as a cultural experience, but the hard sell is very awkward and uncomfortable.

An excellent trip to the high points of Istanbul with stops. Lale Kilic was an great guide...very knowledgeable and both responsive to our small group's questions and flexible to our requests. I truly enjoyed the day and felt like I had a good introduction to Istanbul.

I booked this 2 days before the day we did the tour. Although it was for a small group tour, my brother and I ended up being the only 2 on the tour which meant it was a private tour. I was really happy with this company and their promptness. Simeh arrived before the planned time and walked us to all the sites on the itinerary. He was very personable and a wealth of knowledge. I am glad we did this on our first day in Istanbul since he offered great advice about how to cope with the Grand Bazaar etc. He took us to a great restaurant for lunch too. All in all I was pleased with this tour and the company. We started at 9am and finished around 3.30pm.

My guide really made this an awesome experience. Ozlem was first-class and very welcoming and informative. You get to see all of the primary sites, with entrance included. I highly recommend!

The tour was great. My guide Ozi was amazing. It was only me on the tour so I felt I was with a friend. She was very informative and extremely friendly as well. She suggested a few things during the tour but never pushed me to do anything. This tour is highly recommended
