Spend a day in Mainland China as your cross into Shenzhen, a city encapsulating the modern and traditional elements of China. Explore the city’s illustrious attractions and landmark and gain unique insights from your local guide. Witness the Silk Factory in full swing and feel free to buy some clothes for yourself. You will also be taken to a museum to learn more about Chinese history. Your experience continues as you ride to the top of the Shenzhen Meridian View Centre to take in the entire expanse from a bird’s eye perspective. Before you ride the rail back to HK you will get plenty of time to shop at the Lo Wu Shopping Mall, prior to which a traditional lunch will be arranged for you. Be sure to take plenty of pictures of the modern and traditional parts of the city as you navigate through the small alleyways of the markets in the area.
Itinerary- Pick up for selected hotels (6:40am-7:10am)
- First Class train and escort to Lo Wu, Shenzhen
- Watch morning exercises (Taichi, sword dancing etc.) at Lichi Park
- Visit Shenzhen Meridian View Centre (entrance ticket included)
- Visit Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horse Museum
- Visit Silk Factory
- Dim sum lunch at local Chinese restaurant
- Shopping at Lo Wu Shopping Mall (2.5 hrs)
- Return by First Class train
- Hotel drop off approx. 6:30pm
- Do not forget to carry your passport as you will not be allowed on the tour. Please note that due to a new policy regarding Visas by Chinese government the following country passport holders will not be allowed: USA, India, Turkey, Philippines
- Once booking is confirmed, you will have to send a photocopy of your passport for the Visa application.
