Ihr Fremdenführer holt Sie in Ihrem Hotel in einem klimatisierten Fahrzeug früh am Morgen ab, damit Sie die ersten Sonnenstrahlen und das Aufwachen von Ho Chi Minh City erleben. Die erste Station auf der Tour ist der Tao Dan Park, wo die Bewohner ihre Morgenübungen abhalten, wie z. B. Taichi, Aerobic und Badminton. Schlendern Sie zu einer kleinen Pagoda, an der Sie mit Sicherheit auf Anhänger treffen, die ihre täglichen Gebete verrichten. Erfahren Sie von Ihrem kundigen Fremdenführer über die Rolle der Religion in Vietnam.
Weiter geht es zu einem lokalen Straßenmarkt, auf dem die Schnäppchenjäger mit den Anbietern über alles Mögliche von lebenden Meeresfrüchten bis zu getrocknetem Fleisch und von frischem Gemüse bis zu Haushaltswaren feilschen. Essen Sie anschließend ein Nudelfrühstück im Pho 24 Restaurant gemeinsam mit Einheimischen, und runden Sie den Vormittag ab mit einem vietnamesischen Kaffee in einem der belebtesten Cafés der Stadt, das bei Studenten und Künstlern beliebt und der ideale Ort ist, um Menschen zu beobachten, während Sie an Ihrem Kaffee nippen.
Im klimatisierten Fahrzeug geht es weiter zum Besuch des Palasts der Wiedervereinigung, vor dem Fall von Saigon auch bekannt als Unabhängigkeitspalast. Machen Sie einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Saigon Notre-Dame Kathedrale entlang des Saigon River am Dong Khoi Street, bekannt für seine Boutiquen, und flanieren Sie über den Nguyen Hue Boulevard, um viele der schönen alten Gebäude von Downtown Ho Chi Minh City zu würdigen. Ihr Fremdenführer weist Sie auf die Wahrzeichen der französisch-kolonialen Architektur hin, wie z. B. das Rathaus, das Saigon Opernhaus, die Hauptpost und das höchste Gebäude in Vietnam, den Bitexco Tower.

Nach dem Mittagessen in einem Restaurant vor Ort werden Sie zurückgebracht zu Ihrem Hotel, um sich ca. 2 Stunden auszuruhen, bevor es mit der kulinarischen Abendtour weitergeht.
Beginnen Sie Ihre Nacht der Gaumenfreuden, indem Sie auf den Rücksitz eines Motorrads aufspringen. Halten Sie sich gut fest, wenn Sie in der Stadt herumdüsen auf dem Weg zu einigen beliebten Lokalen. Während Sie durch die lebendige Stadt von Ort zu Ort ziehen, erfreuen Sie sich am Nachtleben, und plaudern Sie mit Ihrem ortskundigen Fremdenführer. Sie treffen sich mit den anderen Teilnehmern zu einem Street Food Dinner – wie z. B. Meeresfrüchten, vietnamesischen Crêpes und süßen Suppen – begleitet von Bier oder Reiswein und der lokalen Kultur, bis es an der Zeit ist, sich für die Nacht ins Hotel zurückzubegeben.

I felt really brave going out on motorcycles at night in Saigon in this mad traffic city. I had to continually remind my self to concentrate on the scenery and not to mentally drive the motorbike. The various types of food were great and the company was even better. My driver was a character and we had lots of fun. It was interesting at the various museums that the Vietnam war is now known as the American war. Informative and interesting. Lots of fun.

Fantastic way to see HCMC and highly recommend this tour. Our guide picked us up promptly in the morning and we drove via AC car to all the sights. Due to rain we had to skip the park and pho breakfast but the guide more than made up for it with local coffee stop (Vietnamese coffee is SO good!)

What a great day! In the moening we were picked up at our hotel, and taken all around the city by private bus. Trung our guide was amazing, so knowledgable and friendly. We did the main sites and had a great lunch, high recommended. The evening food tour was awesome, you hop on a moped with a driver and tour the city where the real people eat. You sample food in varying districts, eating with the locals. All diets catered for. Tien our guide was fantastic and so much fun. There is no better way to see the city on its main transport the moped. This tour we highly reccomend, for orientation, culture, fun and see the real Vietnam

Save your money. The confirmation documents we received from the tour company said we would be picked up at 6:30, and to be ready 15 minutes early. We were. When no one showed up by 6:45, we had the hotel call the contact phone number provided. The person they contacted said we would be met at 7:45! When the hotel clerk explained that our paper said 6:30, the tour comany hung up on him. The tour guide did show up at 7:45, and was unaware of the 6:30 issue. After that, we decided to just try to enjoy the day and have a good tour. The tour guide was a very nice gentleman who tried to make sure we saw everthing but his English is very hard to understand. In addition, he didnt give us hardly any information on the sites that we couldnt have gotten out of our guidebook. He dropped us at the War Museum for 2 hours, for us to see on our own. That was way too much time, and after that we got his mobile number so we could call him if need be. In the reunification palace, his information was the same as the info on the self tour signs, which included English. The night portion of the tour was an experience, though. We went through the city, at rush hour, in cyclos. He took us to an eatery where locals have dinner, and ordered a variety of items. Most was very good. We would like to have had more input on the dishes ordered. After dinner, the cyclo rides continued through the city, which is beautiful when lit up at night. He took us to another restaurant to try another local dish, but there were no seats, and since we were full from the previous stop as we did not not know/were not told that we would be going to another restaurant, we said we didnt want to stay. If we had this to do over again, we would see the city sights on our own in the daytime everyting is withing walking distance and just book a night food tour.

The day tour was great. The night food tour didn't happen due to confusion about our decision to not ride on a moped. The guide was excellent.

Most interesting to see this amazing city and survive the traffic on motorbike and cycle. Especially enjoyed the night food experience and appreciated my guide's recommendation to see th AO group performance. My guide was very obliging and tried to see to my comfort and interests. He should develop more commentary about the sights of Saigon, but in general was informative and pleasant with reasonable English.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Saigon for the first time. Our tour guide, NT, was wonderful! I really enjoyed that we had plenty of time at each point of interest. My favorite stop would have to be the Central Post Office. NT also helped with purchasing the postcards and stamps!
