I really enjoyed the tunnels and our tour guide was so funny and informative and spoke English really well. The air conditioned bus was definitely nice and although you stop at an art shop the art is quite beautiful and I ended up buying something. I did the tour as a solo traveler and it was nice to be around other people for the day and learn so much! Definitely wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty / can crouch in for a long period of time if you plan to go inside the tunnels (which I would highly recommend). The tour was very timely, too.
Our Guide Selena Hang well equipped with answers about history not only on Cu Chi Tunnel but Vietnam as a whole. She brought us around Cu Chi with confidence and good command of English. She highlighted fine pointers that will be in our memory forever. Thank you Selena Hang n Vietnam.
The tunnels themselves are worth a visit and very interesting, although the story is presented very one sided. The guide was friendly and had a lot of information. The tour does however make an unplanned stop at a factory to try to sell you tourist junk, and then when you pass a gift store at the tunnels they ask you not to buy anything because their clearly not getting a cut of the profits from that one. To save money bring your own water and snacks, and skip on the fun shooting, it's a huge rip off.
This tour was very interesting as tour guide Jackie provided a lot of context and history around the Vietnamese fight for independence and the building of the tunnel network.
Steven was good guide. He is well informed young man. Cu Chi Tunnels are an interesting place, it's a good experience.
Had Tung/Pine as guide for the trip. He gave short informative history of the Vietnam war and was attentive to the crowd. Aside from the cu chi tunnel, manage to shoot some bullets at own cost.
We did the tour in the afternoon and they said they could not pick us up because difficulties when parking (?). Afterwards we saw that nobody was picked up nor droped off. Our guide, Duc, was very nice and we enjoyed our time in the tunnels. However, we did not see the documentary which was supposed to be also included in the tour..
Historic site that is well worth visiting. The best part of the tour was the special insights from the guide Tuan. Tuan was an American War veteran that actually spent time during the war in the Cu Chi area so he was able to give first hand knowledge of the area, how it impacted the war, and what the area was like during the war. Only criticism of the tour was the planned stop at a place just to try and sell souvenirs. Expect about 3-4 hours in a bus round trip, with about 2 hours at the tunnels themselves.
Really enjoyed the trip. Our guide was amazing and gave us so much information throughout the tour. His English was great.
We had a great day, I would highly recommend going to the Cu Chi tunnels when you visit HCM. The tour guide, Fa, made our day by telling interesting stories about the war. We could understand his English well. Definitely worth a visit with tour guide Fa!
It was a very informative tour provided by Lockie, our tour guide. Great experience and history tour.
I highly recommend this tour with the funny and super smart guide, Vu. I took the morning tour on 23 November as a solo female traveler and ended up learning so much in such a short trip. Cu Chi is very significant to the history of conflict in Vietnam. Our guide, Vu, made us appreciate this effectively. She also made the trip enjoyable by ensuring we feel comfortable to ask questions, enjoying the tour at a leisurely pace and that we are laughing and having a good time. Thank you!
A nice tour guide! His English communication skill is quite good! He is very patient to hear visitors' questions and answer in detail.
