Wonderful tour. Christina was very knowledgeable and informative. Included landmark buildings and locations as well as skip the line at the Academia museum.
Tour guide Barbara, was full of knowledge and very funny! Allways kept everyone’s attention with a fun fact and joke! 1/2 day was perfect to give us all a chance to go back to anything we wanted more time with ,and ending at the Accademia was perfect, it allowed everyone to stay as along as they wanted!
Giuseppe gave us an amazing tour. At the Academia Museum we saw all the different styles of painting as well the David sculpture,The walking Tour of b
We booked this trip for our family of 4, with 2 kids ages 11 and 9. We loved the idea of making it private so that the kids could easily interact and we could ask all the questions we needed to about Florence, a city that begs for dozens of questions to be asked! This tour was amazing, thanks to our guide, Alberto. He was the perfect combination of informative and fun and was very engaging and tolerant of our kids, who did melt down a little in the heat wave that was sweeping through Europe at the time. We hit all of the big sites that we wanted to and Alberto was flexible and accommodating to any and all of our requests, his vast knowledge of his home city allowing us to go anywhere and do anything. More importantly he had wonderful stories and an eye out for the lesser known details and facts, making the tour that much more special. I highly recommend taking this tour and request Alberto if at all possible!
This tour was good and Jacomo was knowledgeable but it was hot and the museum a/c was out which did not help. The David was an amazing sculpture!
My nephew and I were on a whirlwind tour of Italy. We had limited time in Florence and this tour was just perfect! Our guide was wonderful and passionate about the city. We learned a ton and saw a lot. I highly recommend this tour if you want to see some highlights of Florence.
We had a great time walking around Florence while Alberto is providing is with stories and information about the city. He is knowledgeable and professional and he continued on with his lecture even with all the drizzle.
This private half day walking tour with entry to see the Statue of David was wonderful! Our guide was flexible to our needs and as Florence is very small we felt like we knew what else we could do during our 3 night stay!! The David statue was an absolute highlight of our holiday!!
Jessica was a wonderful guide and was very good showing us around Florence. She didn't rush us and was very knowledgeable. I especially liked going to see the "real" David and how she explained the various sides of the statue and what to look for. I would highly recommend you doing this tour as it helps you learn to navigate through the city and you get to learn about a lot of different and interesting buildings, bridges, streets, and art.
Our guide, Sylvia, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She brought the history, art, architecture, and the magnificent David to life for us! Highly recommend the upgrade to a private tour.
Alberto was great! The tour was very informative and really got to the history of Florence. Would definitely recommend.
Our guide, Sylvia, was amazing! I told her myself that she was the best guide ever! Very knowledgeable, smart, professional, and friendly! We loved all of the places Sylvia took us to. Excellent walking tour!!!
Great overview of the city and Flavia was very informative and helpful. Made getting to know Florence much easier and learned a great deal to help appreciate the city and its history
Awesome experience and Bernardo was the best guide! Would definitely recommend as a great half-day tour. The skip-the-line for the David statue was worth including in this tour.
Did this tour to show my wife the highlights of Florence. We got very lucky with our tour guide, Bernardo. He was amazing. Very knowledgeable, very detailed and a pleasant human being. We are now friends Tour is perfect. Just right amount of time and skipping the line to see David was great. Looked like at least 2 hours to get it. Great value Thank you Bernardo and Viator
Our tour group only ended up by 6 people, plus the guide. The guide was very knowledgeable about Florence and Italian history and took us to see many interesting sites on our walking tour. The tour ended with a visit to the David, which was amazing.
It was a small group .Our guide Alberto was very knowledgeable . It was a real pleasure to see for the first time truly famous places Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio and David.
I loved this tour! We met in the central piazza in Florence where we met our guide, Jessica. She was very knowledgable and a local to the Firenze area. She guided us down streets, calling our attention to landmarks, sculptures, and more. We arrived at the Academia Gallery where she took care of acquiring our skip the line tickets and took us through the highlights of all of the individual galleries. She then gave us an exquisite description of the Prisoners by Michaelangelo and then gave us plenty of time to admire the incredible statue of David from all angles in the Gallery. She then finished up the tour pointing out Pointe Vechio, and making great recommendations for lunch, shopping and other sights to view while in the city. This was perfect for us as we were only there one full day!
The tour was amazing...short but rich in history and the guide ( i do not remember the name but was born in florence) was so clear and kind to give the answers to our questions.....
Enjoyed this tour a lot. Francesco was our guide and he was wonderful. He had so much knowledge and love of Florence. He was great with our kids and was flexible to tailor the tour to our needs. He took our kids to get gelato halfway through the tour. Don’t do Florence without a guide you’ll never get the history and detail a knowledge guide will provide you.
Guila was wonderful. We loved her little throw away comments. But her knowledge of the various places was great.
The walking tour with Gulia was great, she was so funny and was able to explain so much of the history as we walked the city. She gave great tips and recommendations too, very enjoyable tour.
This is a must do while in Florence. I am still amazed by the beauty of the city. Barbara was such a fun and amazing guide. She made everything super.
Loved this tour! Gulia was amazing! She was so knowledgeable about Florence and it’s history! I would highly recommend this tour!
We arrived in Florence 40 minutes before our tour and couldn't be more happy we made it. Would have wanted a different tour. It was perfect!
Fabulous guide, Isabella was born and bought up in Florence. She loves the city and is very knowledgable. She made our experience so much more meaningful with her insight and passion.
We met our guide Isobella at the exact time arranged. She was lovely, very knowledgeable of Florence and spoke excellant English. One of he best guides we have had during our trips away. We hope that anyone booking this trip would get Isobella because it made an amazing trip even better.
I cannot remember our guide's name but she was excellent - we only had 9 on the tour so we were able to get details from her at every stop. She pointed out some restaurants and a gelato place and we went back to them after the tour and they were excellent! Our son had been to Florence before and said that she had a wealth of knowledge and he wished he had done the tour the first time he visited. Our final part of the tour took us into the Museum to see the David and while that was incredible our guide pointed out the part of the museum that housed the musical instruments - I didn't realize that the Piano was invented in Florence - I had been to the museum years ago and never ventured much past the David - we were there in the peak of summer in very hot weather so skipping the long lines was well worth it, but having a knowledgeable guide was fantastic. Highly recommended!
This was a very enjoyable and fascinating tour. The guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and brought each place to life. I strongly recommend this tour.
Awesome
Wonderful would recommend the tour to anyone.
