Such an interesting morning spent learning the history of perfume in Florence. The class took place in a lovely old shop, which is run by the owner Dottore Fernanda and her assistant Debora. Il Dottore did not speak English although she understood, and Debora imparted all the knowledge to us. We sat at a table made in the 12th century to learn how to mix our own personal fragrance with Fernanda's experience and Debora's help. At the end of the morning you come away with 50mls of the perfume you have blended and the recipe. A lovely morning and money well spent. Will go back.

Exactly what the tour description promises. With a lot of guidance from a Master Perfumer you get to make your own signature perfume and take a 50mlbottle home with you. Absolutely delighted with mine, and I can order more and they will ship it to me!!

The Dottoressa was wonderful and her two assistants helped to translate for her. We basically had the entire shop to ourselves. They were so patient and clearly love what they do. I would absolutely do this again!

Previous reviews indicated a room fragrance was made but we actually created our own personal fragrance. A bi-lingual assistant explained the basics of how perfumes are created and helped interpret for The Doctor. Each person selected 3-4 scents they preferred for each the bottom, middle, and top notes. The Doctor's expertise helped each person combine their preferences into their own unique scent. The class was enjoyable, relaxed, and both the assistant and The Doctor were very pleasant and took their time with us rather than rushing us through the process. Would highly recommend!

This class is terrible and not worth €80. Do NOT take the perfume making class here. I took it and because there was someone famous in the store they shoved me by myself in a tiny room with no tour of the shop, no history of perfume making. They advertise the class is 2 hours and it was less than one hour for €88. The girl who was supposed to be teaching the class was sick and coughing all over her hands and the oils and then handling everything. I am on vacation and I hope that I don't get sick. Not worth the money at all :-(
