Guided Tour of Florence and Pistoia Highlights with Traditional Tuscan Lunch

Our private walking tour starts every day, it will last approximately 5 hours, including the walking tour in Florence and Pistoia, the local train to reach Pistoia from Florence and the way back, a traditional lunch in Pistoia.

Our professional and fully licensed tour guide will spend all the time with you sharing all the important arts and historical facts and tasting delicious wine and local food specialties. We can arrange vegetarians and gluten-free options, please be sure to mention any diet restrictions and/or allergies during the booking.

Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes, be hungry and eager to learn; there will be much to see, taste and drink.

Florence does not really needs presentations, is one of the most famous city in the world, you will be astonished by the beauty of the Duomo, the holiness of the Baptistery, the majesty of the Bell tower, no visit to Florence is complete without at least some time spent dawdling on the Ponte Vecchio, looking at the glittering jeweler's shops along the bridge.

After 2 hours and 30 minutes we will get a local train to reach Pistoia, we prefer to get a train instead of a car in order to relax viewing the countryside landscape and avoiding the mad commuting traffic.

In Pistoia we will enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch, starting with a rich tagliere with cured meat, pecorino cheese and bruschettas, in Italy there’s no lunch without a mouthwatering pasta dish.

After this delicious lunch break there’s nothing better than a leisurely walk in a charming quiet medieval town.

In Pistoia you will see all the main monuments and attractions, such as: the Romanesque church S. Andrea, the Ospedale del Ceppo, Piazza del Duomo with its cathedral, baptistery and intact medieval palaces, Dealla Sala square and many other astonishing sites.

This tour is a delightful combination of food, wine and history, at the end of the tour your belly, heart and soul will be fully content, we will say our goodbyes after having shared a great experience that we are sure will stay with you forever!
