The O'Connell Tower is now open to the public - you can now climb Ireland's largest round tower! Once at the top, you will enjoy 360 degree panoramic views of the sprawling grounds of the cemetery, the city of Dublin, Wicklow and the Irish Sea. Please enquire at reception for more information regarding booking and admission rates. (Tower admission can be purchased as an add-on to your tour on site) Please note - age restrictions apply to O'Connell Tower.

Women's Tours - last Sunday of the month at 2pm (June - November) Glasnevin's popular Women's Tours will be returning on the last Sunday of every month from June - November 2019. On this tour, hear the stories of some of the following incredible women: Maud Gonne Mac Bride, Delia Larkin, Charlotte Despard, Madeline ffrench Mullen, Jennie Wyse Power, Elizabeth O’Farrell, Hanna Sheehy-Skeffington and Constance Markievicz. Children's Mid - Term Tales Tours The history of Glasnevin Cemetery will be brought to life with this family friendly tour. Saturday, October 26th, 3:30pm Sunday, October 27th, 12:30pm & 3:30pm Bank Holiday Monday, October 28th, 12:30pm & 3:30pm Thursday (Halloween), October 31st, 3:30pm. See website for details.

Our guide was so full of wit, wisdom and information. The cemetery itself was large and to see it all takes a bit of time. However, she made it very special with her extended knowledge and wonder wit.
