Die ganztägige Tour beginnt mit der Abholung vom Hotel in Buenos Aires. Treffen Sie Ihren Reiseleiter und fahren Sie zum Bahnhof, Sie fahren dann mit der Fähre in die Stadt Colonia. Die Fahrt ist eine Stunde lang und Sie haben einen fantastischen Blick auf Ihrer Reise.

In der Stadt Colonia genießen Sie eine 2-stündige Führung durch die Stadt. Dieser malerischen Stadt in Uruguay liegt direkt auf der anderen Seite des Flusses. Besuchen Sie das historische Zentrum und werden Sie zurück in die Zeit genommen. 1680 gegründet von den Portugiesen, die Stadt ist berühmt für ihre kopfsteingepflasterten, windigen Straßen und bunten Häuser. Heute ist sie ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe.

Erfahren Sie von Ihrem Reiseleiter mehr über die Stadt und wie sie sich unterscheidet von den meisten uruguayischen Städten. Bewundern Sie die Straßen und Häuser sowie kleine Bars und Restaurants. Nach der Tour werden Sie noch drei Stunden Colonia auf eigene Faust erkunden. Sie können einen der wunderschönen Plätze und kleine Blumen-Parks besuchen. Sie können ein Mittagessen genießen und besuchen einige Kunst- und Kunsthandwerksläden, Museen und einen großen Yachthafen.

Nach einem schönen Tag in Colonia gehen Sie an Bord der Fähre zurück nach Buenos Aires, wo Sie zu Ihrem Hotel zurückgebracht werden.

He ferry ride was very smooth and quick. Once we arrived we easily found our guide was was awesome. She shared so much history and answered all our curiosity. She annunciated so clearly and was easy to communicate with. We had a great meal there that we took photos of and keep talking about. The walk along the coast was so peaceful we could feel so much stress released. Got back in Time for another lovely meal in Buenos Aires.

This day trip to Uruguay is amazing! It starts with a personal pickup at your hotel where you're dropped off at the boat terminal. It is a really great treat to see Buenos Aires from the coast. The seats are comfy and great for a nap on the ride over. When you arrive in Colonia, your guide meets to pick you up inside the terminal. Prepare for the 3.5 min car ride from the terminal to the old city of Colonia : Then you get a personalized walking tour through the city where all the hot spots are pointed out, a guide only location in a old hotel plaza, and recommendations to eat lunch and what do to on your free time. There is a significant number of things to do in Colonia: lighthouse with great views of the entire city, three sides surrounded by water, the old fort wall, multiple original cobblestone streets and buildings in both Portuguese and Spanish design a unique aspect of this city, many shops with local handmade items, and countless restaurants both in the old city and right outside on the main street. The walking tour takes about an hour and then you're given about 4 hours on your own. Once you meet back up with your tour guide, you're driven back to the terminal and are helped through the ticket line. Once you get back on board, the boat offers a duty free shop and a snack bar as well. Your driver from the morning will pick you up right inside the terminal in Buenos Aires and take you back to you hotel. For this trip you don't need to exchange money for Uruguayan Pesos as there is an exchange store in Colonia and is only needed for the city's museums. The Argentinian Pesos is widely accepted elsewhere in addition to being able to use your credit card at many restaurants and stores on the main street. You'll need your passport for this trip. We highly recommend this detour from the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires for a relaxing day on your own pace while also being able to check a second country off your list.
