Sie werden von Ihrem englischsprachigen Fahrer/Reiseleiter um 9:00 Uhr von Ihrem Hotel im Raum Bangalore City abgeholt. Der erste Halt ist ISKCON-Tempel Bangalore, ein Tempel im neoklassizistischen Stil, der eine gute Mischung aus Tradition und Moderne bietet. Er bietet aus spiritueller, architektonischer und genereller Sicht ein wirklich empfehlenswertes Erlebnis für Besucher und Gläubige.
Anschließend geht es weiter zum Tipu Sultan Fort and Palace, einem 2-stöckigen Palast, der vollständig aus Teakholz erbaut wurde und seit 1845 ein Museum ist. Es beherbergt exquisit geschnitzte Säulen, Bögen und Balkone.
Begeben Sie sich zum botanischen Garten Lalbagh, Heimat von mehr als tausend Pflanzenarten. Hier finden Sie auch ein vom Crystal Palace in England inspiriertes Gewächshaus vor, das in Erinnerung an den Besuch des Prince of Wales gebaut wurde.
Genießen Sie in einem lokalen Restaurant ein Mittagessen (auf eigene Kosten), bevor es weiter zu einem Besuch des Bangalore-Palastes geht. Dieser wurde gebaut von Reverend Garrett, dem ersten Rektor der Central High School der Stadt, die jetzt auch als Central College bekannt ist.
Als Nächstes fahren Sie am High Court, Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha und Attara Kacheri vorbei und werfen einen Blick auf die herrlichen Gebäude.
Anschließend besuchen Sie den ältesten Bull Tempel, ein hervorragendes Beispiel für Architektur im Dravidian-Stil. Man sagt, der Tempel ist Nandi, einem heiligen Hindu-Halbgott, gewidmet, welcher ein enger Anhänger und Begleiter von Shiva war.
Zum Schluss besuchen wir den Gavi Gangadhareshwara Tempel, der Shiva gewidmt ist und ein einzigartiges Bild von Agni, dem Gott des Feuers, beherbergt.
Gegen 17:00 Uhr kehren Sie zurück zu Ihrem Hotel in Bangalore, wo die Tour endet.

This tour with Peter was exceptional! He was very helpful, informative and very friendly! I loved that he never left us and even ate lunch with us which i enjoyed very much. He even took me to the shopping part of town and helped me find beads which i wanted. He made the whole tour wonderful! Our driver Vijay was great too!

A very good tour of Bangalore City! It is the best way to explore Bangalore using a tour guide and an experienced driver. Ms Shama has a great knowledge about the history of the city and the driver Xavier was very patient through the busy streets of Bangalore. Highly recommending using Viator.
This tour was exactly what I need. Perfect to discover Bangalore city and to do some shopping (silk, pashmina...). Everything was good, the driver was ponctual and Shama the guide was so kind and gave interesting information about the city and the places we visited. I highly recommend.
My tour guide ms Shama gave me good overview of Bangalore. I felt that tour included more shopping stops than i cared to do.
Do not expect an English speaking guide/driver. As a result, I did not have a guide but rather a driver. Additionally the driver/guide had no idea what stops were included on this tour so I had to tell him using pictures or find someone who could act as a translator. Once he knew where we were going, he needed to use GPS which only worked on Wi-Fi and took me to the Bangalore Palace before it was open resulting in an hour wait. Overall I was very dissatisfied with this tour.
