Stop At: Wangfujing Street, Wangfujing Main Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China

Meet your guide at your downtown hotel lobby. You will take a taxi to to go Wangfujin area, one of the first pedestrian streets in Beijing.

You will visit a Wangfujing Market in the basement of a huge shopping mall. This new place has been transformed into how the Old Beijing Hutong streets used to look before. Here you can experience the zigzag of the hutongs and taste some of the traditional old Beijing bakery.

Stop At: Nanluoguxiang, Nanluoguo Xiang, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China

Later on you will pass through Nanluoguxiang Street, a quaint neighborhood hub of bars, cafés, restaurants and shops selling traditional crafts. By this time, daylight start fading in Beijing, so neon lights will mix with traditional red lanterns to create a lively yet relaxing atmosphere. If you haven't had your dinner, here is a perfect place to take some local snack since there are a lot food stands and local delicacies here. Pick up something and enjoy!

Stop At: Back Lakes (Hou Hai), Shicha Lake Scenic Resort, Xicheng District, Beijing 100009 China

This area is connected with the lakes of Houhai, where you will see rickshaws passing-by, small stores and intricate alleyways. This bustling area really feels like taking a trip back in time, so don’t hesitate to snap plenty of pictures. Your guide will stop by the best street food vendors for an opportunity to purchase delicious snacks. 

The tour will be ended by walking through the live music bars area, where you can stay to continue enjoying Beijing night.

Put on your walking shoes and be ready to experience many street markets around Beijing as well as a subway ride. On this tour you will not only get your Fitbit steps but will be able to taste every delicacy the area has to offer, every cultural craft available and high and low end shops of all kinds. Sharon our guide was very informative and went above and beyond the call of duty to get us home at the end of the night.

Joy was a joy as a tour guide. We were very late and she was patient waiting for us. The local food was an experience, including live scorpions on a stick! If you like to experience the food as the locals do, this tour is for you

The Houahi Bar area was very entertaining and the best part of this tour. There was no driver. The guide spoke good English but was not very engaging.
