Our guide and driver for the day, David, was a wealth of information about the places we visited. OK, so we basically visited many of the tourist hot spots near Amsterdam, but the extra cost was well worth it. At the start of our visit at the windmills, the weather was a bit drizzly, but before we could grab a raincoat, David was there with a pair of umbrellas for us to use. Such service. Apart from the "being there" moments, a true highlight was the visit to the Cheese and Clog workshop. Impressive demo on how clogs are made by hand and a taste test of the various cheeses was enough for us to purchase a small example to bring home with us... unfortunately, baggage weight restrictions prevented us from purchasing a pair of clogs this time. Overall, we would highly recommend this private tour. cheers
